.Chapter 11.
It's Tuesday. I twist my combination to the lock on my locker and it pops open with a "click". And just then, as I'm about to slot my Bio textbook into my bag, our school's beloved queen bee, note the sarcasm, and her little bitchlings come up to me. Claudia slams my locker door close, making the textbook fall out of my hand. But on the plus side, she forgets to remove one of her fingers from the locker and it shuts on her finger. "Fuq." I pick up my book as I laugh at her.
"Karma's a bitch," I mutter as I get back up, trying my best not to look up her too short skirt.
"So, where's my Acey boo?" she spat, not even bothering to make eye-contact with me as she stared at her nails. A look of an annoyance flashed across her face. Did she ruin her nails that she got done over the weekends? Pity.
I then cringed at the nickname she gave Ace.
"I don't know," I reply as I open up my locker again to finish transferring the rest of my books from my bag to the locker and vice versa.
I'm surprised she doesn't say anything else before I finish doing my stuff and start walking away.
"Hey! I didn't say I was done with you!" Claudia whines.
"Is that what you say to all the men that leave after they're done banging you?" I say as I turn to face her. Ya gotta make eye contact.
"Guys NEVER say that to me. You can ask any of the juniors or seniors. None of whom would ever want to do you."
"So you admit that you are a slut huh-since you practically implied that you slept with half the school's population of men."
"Wha... Bitch!" she shrieks, fists shaking as she storms off. Typical. Wait, doesn't it hurt to do that in heels? Meh. I can't be bothered to give a damn about her.
Finally ran out of crap for your big mouth to say huh Jenson? I smile. Peace at last. Well that took up quite a bit of my precious time. HA. Who am I kidding, it's not like I have better things to do this morning. I find Eva and Wes standing by Eva's locker in a heated conversation. That makes me wonder what happened during their date last night. I steer clear of the couple to avoid getting caught up in the mess. A little too much drama for me at the moment.
I pretend to not be able to see them as I stroll down the hallway to class. I slip into a seat near the back of the class and pull out my phone and continue reading. I had been left on a cliffhanger this morning and I was not happy.
Ms Kennedy comes in after a few and I suddenly remember it's Lit. Shoot. I unzip my bag. Okay... it looks like I may have forgot to grab my book. Hehe whoops.
Since class hadn't started yet I scoot out of my seat and rush out of the door, not without Ms Kennedy eyeing me suspiciously first though.
I grab the book from my locker which I had to open for the third time today.
I look at it in my hands.
Hamlet.
I don't think I've finished reading our assigned chapters yet. Let's just hope she doesn't pick me to answer them questions today.
I dart back to class, right before teach starts speaking.
I mean I don't exactly like Lit but it's fine with the occasional disturbances.
10 minutes into the lesson Eva finally appears. I didn't even know she was gone. Huh.
"Miss Stanford would you mind explaining why you were so late to class today?"
