Chapter six- detention sucks
M I L L I E

As I made my way into the school, I saw very few students standing around in the halls. I sarcastically waved at the few that stoped to stare, making them blush.

I quickly made my way through the empty hallway. I gave out a sigh as my second period class came into view. It is also the one I share Sadie.

As I made my way into my second class, all eyes were on me- including Ms. Ryder; the not so happy teacher.

Sadly once again, I ended up having Science with Ms. Ryder for the second year in a row. I can tell you one thing, I was not happy- nor was Ms. Ryder.

"Miss. Brown your late." She hissed as I nodded my head. Of course I was late, or else I wouldn't be standing in front of class forty-five minutes after class started.

"Take your seat and I will be seeing you after school for detention." She sighed as she rubbed her temples. I rolled my eyes as I took a seat.

I could hear little snickers coming from the back of the class but ms. Ryder quickly shut it down.

I walked into Ms. Ryder's classroom after the dismissal bell rang. I sighed as I took a seat- one at the back, obviously.

I decided to take out my phone and scroll through my Instagram while I waited. It's not like I would be wasting anytime.

It wasn't long until ms. Ryder walked in with her obnoxious heels. "Phones away Millie you know this." She sighed as she took her seat at her desk.

I rolled my eyes then turned around to put my phone in my backpack. After I dropped my phone into my bag, I turned back around to see a student walking in.

"Go take your seat next to Millie." Ms. Ryder sighed, not taking her eyes off what she was doing.

My eyes widened when I saw who was approaching me. She had a devilish grin plastered on her face that grew with every step she took.

Now, I would be lying if I said I was not the slightest bit scared.

"You girls stay here no talking. I will be back very soon." Ms. Ryder said as she gathered a couple papers. As she made her way out of the class, the more nervous I got.

As soon as I could no longer here the sound of her heels, Sadie turned my way and put on an innocent smirk.

She is far from innocent

"Well hello Millie Brown-"

"It's Millie Bobby Brown, you know that." I quickly corrected. I could see her roll her eyes from the corner of mine.

"Millie Bobby Brown," she corrected. "How nice it is to see you again." I turned my body towards her and scuffed. How nice it is to see me again? How fake can she get.

"You know what Sadie," started with confidence. "I wish I could say the same thing." Her eyes narrowed a bit as she then decided to drop her little innocent act she was putting on.

"Well sorry for trying to make some conversation with a friend." She sighed as she leaned back.

"Sadie you stole my fucking boyfriend! We are not friends!" I practically yelled, catching her off guard. She slowly sat up with another sigh.

"Actually I didn't steal him, I ruined your relationship with him." She clarified as if it was going to make her look any better- which by the way, it didn't. "And from my understanding, you were the one that broke up with him and wouldn't take him back after he chased after you for months on end! And lastly, he chose me over you, so get over it."

I could feel tears coming to my eyes but I quickly blinked them away.

For awhile I stayed silent, not wanting to start anything. I knew what Sadie could do giving me another reason to stay silent.

"Millie Brown," Sadie mocked as she tried to earn my attention. I rolled my eyes as I turned her way to see what she wanted.

As I turned, my eyes quickly shut as the quite sound from Sadie bubblegum bubble was popped in front of me. Sadie used to always do that to me as she knows I hate it when people do that.

Before I couldn't respond, let alone react, Ms. Ryder had come back into the class room with more paper in her hands then she had when she left.

She quickly placed the papers on her desk then made her way over to Sadie and I.

"Well I'm guessing you guys learned your lesson," she said with a sigh. "You guys may go." As soon as she said that, she quickly left the class room with a smile on her face. I guess teachers hate school just as much as students do.

I slowly grabbed my bag the stood up to face Sadie. She stayed slouching in her seat as we made eye contact, with a smug look on her face.

"I still hate you, Sadie Sink."

I walked out of the class as quickly as I could, but obviously I was not fast enough. Almost in inaudibly, I heard her mutter, "ha, sounds exactly like the first time she said that."

- "I hate you, Sadie Sink." I cried between sobs-

I made my way outside and looked around as if someone was going to be there for me. But there was no one.

I jumped into my car and shut my eyes as I took a deep breath. Maybe it is my fault why I'm so missable. Maybe if I had just listened to Finn and let him explain things would have turned out differently. I would not be crying in my car at the thought of my ex boyfriend and ex best friend dating.

I started driving, not knowing exactly where I was going. Then again, I think a lot of people knew where I was going. At least subcoincisely I knew where I was headed.
