"Y/N. How are you feeling love?" Roan opened the door, seeing you curled up on a bed. You lifted your head, dropping it with a low groan. Roan sighed lowly, crossing the room and slowly sitting beside of you. "You don't have to go through this-"
"Luna only has so much blood." You sighed, looking up at him with a weak smile. "This is going to help you too, it could save you."
"You're suffering-"
"But the payoff will be greater." You stated, taking his hand in yours. "I'm not watching you die. They figure this out, and we both can live."
A hint of a smile etched on his lips, breaking out in a grin as you pulled him down to lay beside of you. His strong arms wrapped around your waist, pulling you into his chest.
"You're too good." He muttered, kissing your temple.
