You were terrified, so terrified that you couldn't distinguish it the rattling that cocooned your body was the drop ship that you were in, or your bones shaking from fear. Your knuckles were white from clenching the edge of your metal chair so hard, the red straps across your chest digging in slightly as you were shaken around.
You could hear the small screams and sharp shrieks from other delinquents, their fear fueling your's. And it took everything within you not to cry, not to let the tears slip from your watery eyes, and to not let the emotion show on your face.
You remembered his words at that moment, clear as the day he said them to you. "Don't show those bastards any fear, they don't deserve your emotion." You gulped at that, hearing his voice echo through your mind. Your face turned cold, blank and unfeeling.
You had lost him; Bellamy Blake was still on the Ark, still outcast for protecting the one's he loved and pushed out so far that no one dared to care for his existence. You weren't there for him, able to hold him or love him like you always wanted to do. No one would be able to care for his sister, Octavia. Octavia.
At that moment you frantically started looking around, searching the crowded level for the brown haired girl you knew would be there. The drop ship landed then, a hard thud and a loud bang as you finally touched down on earth.
You shot out of your seat, racing towards the ladder to the other levels, praying that you could find the young girl in the mass of teen's.
And you did, and you found him too. He stood next to his sister, a guard uniform covering his body as he grinned down at her. He looked so happy, so relieved to know that what remained of his family was safe and secure.
That's when he looked at you, lifting his head up and looking with those deep brown eyes, straight at you. A large grin broke out on his features, small crinkles appearing under his eyes as he pushed through the crowd to get to you.
"Y/F/N."
"Bellamy Blake."
He rushed to you at that moment, sweeping you into his arms and burying his face into the side of your neck. His hands clung to you as you let out a small sob, shuddering deep against him, pressing your body to him.
"Oh thank god you're okay." He let out a sigh of relief, a small laugh escaping from his lips as he looked down at you again. He pressed kisses to your forehead, ears, nose and lips, and his hands still held your body tight not wanting to let go.
"We're okay now, we're okay."
And with that last small muttering of words, you sunk into his embrace, forever thankful to find him again.
