"You alright?" Corey asked Mason as they sat in the Chem lab with Lydia. "Yeah. Why?" "Just checkin." "Yeah, it's okay. I don't see anything."

"What?" Corey asked. "Nothing."

Athena rolled her eyes and tried to focus on her best friend, as they needed to find Brett and they needed to find him fast.

"Quiet." Lydia told the two boys. "Please."

"Sorry." The boys said in unison.

"She ever tried this before?" Corey asked Mason, making Athena sigh. "Had a premonition? A few times. They usually find her."

"How will it help us find him?"  Mason sighed. "I don't know, but if Brett's dead, I think she'd already know.

"You two realize you need to be quiet for this to work, right?" Athena whispered

"You think it's working?" Corey asked.

"It might if you stop talking," Lydia barked at the two, making Athena chuckle.

Corey reached over and grabbed a piece of the Newtons Cradle, letting it click. The two boys scrambled to quiet it, and Lydia looked up, annoyed.

"Lydia began scribbling things down, and after a couple seconds, Lydia awoke.

"Does anyone speak Chinese?" Athena asked, and Mason nodded. "My phone does."

Mason took a picture of it, and Corey pointed to a set of Roman Numerals.

"V?"

"Roman Numerals. It spells 68."

"68, in Chinese too." Mason said, then Corey furrowed his eyebrows. "Er?"

"Er. Erbium. Atomic Number is 68." Athena said, and they all whipped around to look at the Periodic Table of Elements on the wall.

"What if this whole thing says 68?" Corey suggested. "68 what though?" Mason responded.

"I have no idea." Lydia said. "Okay, so what do we try next?" Mason asked,

"I'm going back to where my last premonition was. And I'm going alone."

"Dad!" Athena smiled, running towards her father and throwing her arms around his waist. "I'm so glad you're okay." She whispered, and the man held his daughter, chuckling. "I'm sorry I didn't return your calls, I've been super busy."

"Selling guns? Dad, I thought we agreed that we wouldn't do this anymore." Athena said, pulling away from him. "I know, but after the last year, I just need something to do, and this was a good way to find out where all of these guns have been going." He said, holding her at arm's length.

"Okay, as long as we don't fall back into old habits." She chuckled, then sighed. "Somethings coming, Dad. And we don't know what, or when. And I can feel it approaching. Like something really, really bad is going to happen."

"Athena, no matter what happens. We'll be fine." He reassured his daughter. "I know we will. But what about my friends. What about Scott, and Lydia and Malia? Or Liam, Mason and Corey? Brett is already missing. We found our family logo printed on bullets at a supernatural crime scene, and Lydia's having premonitions again. Those three things point to something bad. Something we're all very familiar with." Athena sighed, rubbing her arms and looking around the apartment.

"Like what?" Chris asked, furrowing his eyebrows.

Athena pursed her lips, looking at her dad. "Death, Chaos, Destruction. Three things that mix very badly."

"I want to come. Let me help." Athena said to her father, who spun around and looked at her. "Athena. Stay home. I don't want you getting hurt.

"Dad, I've been doing this since I was 14. I can take care of myself." Athena responded, throwing her arms up as she followed her dad to the front door.

"That's exactly what Allison said!" Her father shouted, making Athena's mouth drop open. She took a couple steps back, attempting to keep her eyes from flooding with tears.

"Athena. I'm sorry-" He reached for his daughter.

"No. It's fine. Just, go. I'll just do something useless. I mean, everyone seems to think I am anyway, so why not." Athena threw her arms up, spinning around and walking into her room, slamming the door shut.

"Athena!" Chris shouted after her, but sighed once he realized that no matter what, she will always be a stubborn girl, so instead, he grabbed his coat and keys, walking out the door of his apartment.
