As Athena listened for the footsteps, a sudden excruciating pain came from the back of her head, and she turned around, making eye contact with Mrs. Finch, who swung the whiteboard eraser at her face, purple powder shocking her and causing her to fall to the ground.
The Wolfsbane
Athena let out an ugly cough as she did the same to Liam and Scott, then watched as Mrs. Finch ran out of the classroom.
The three werewolves weakly ran out of the classroom, attempting to chase after the woman.
The three stumbled across the teacher, who was laying on the ground. Scott quickly fell beside her, "I'll stay, you two go find Quinn."
Athena raised an eyebrow, catching her breath as she was still weak from the wolfsbane. Her knees buckled, but Liam was quick to catch her, helping her up and placing her arm around his shoulder
"Whoa, whoa, we need to face her together," Liam said, his grip on Athena's waist tightening, "I can't leave her," Scott mumbled, "Go."
"W-What if she finds Aaron first? How are we supposed to fight both of them? Athena doesn't even know how to control her powers yet." Liam stuttered, "No offense," He whispered, and she chuckled, attempting to stand up straight.
"Liam, look at me, it's okay to be afraid. Just don't let it stop you, okay? You've got this. Go." Liam sighed as Athena stood up, the effects of her first wolfsbane attack wearing off.
The two nodded, and Athena and Liam ran off to find Quinn.
As the two were running, Athena felt the overwhelming feeling that something was going to go very wrong. It was so overwhelming, that Athena had to stop running, and take a breath.
"Athena?" Liam had stopped running, turning around and looking at the girl. "Are you okay? What's wrong?"
Athena sighed, sending him a small smile, "I'm fine."
The two started running again, but Athena had a feeling, that tonight, someone was going to die.
Liam got a scent, and informed Athena that it was coming from the library.
When the two arrived, the burst through the doors, Athena clenching her jaw when she saw Quinn standing in the middle of the library.
"Stay afraid. Okay?" Liam said, and Athena nodded.
Suddenly, Aaron walked out from the stairs, and walked towards Quinn. The two looked at each other, before turning to Liam and Athena.
"Cool, I'll get the girl." Athena mumbled, looking at Liam, "Don't die."
"Wait, Athena. You can't shift." Athena smirked, "But I can fight."
Athena ran forwards, jumping onto one of the tables before running at Quinn. The girl tried to grab Athena, but she jumped over her and landed on her feet, turning Quinn around forcefully and kicking her in the stomach.
