Weak// Chap. 9

♡Sam♡

I wake up with an ache in my back. I raise up and I'm sleeping on the couch. What? Why am I h- everything hit me from last night. My jaw dropped and I sat up.

I shot my head towards the opening door and colby walked in with bags. He struggled to get in. I I snickered as I stood up to go help him. It was all panda express? Why 3 bags?

I nit my eyebrows together and look at the other bags. Wal-Mart.

"Why three boxes?" I say looking down at him.

He looked up with a heavy sigh. We were actually really close. I took a step back and I was now against the counter. He took a step forward looking deep into my eyes as if he was trying to find something in them. He put his hands on my neck lightly. I was to shocked to move. His face gets color to mine and he suddenly moved his lips to my ear and whispers.

"A friend is coming over, get ready and everything prepared" he walks off to him room. So I'm left to put everything up. I sigh as I start to put everything in its cabinet. I take the food out of the foam container and put in on a plate, all separate. I put thr plates in the stove and leave them so the flies dont get after them. I walk to the couch which my my phone is laying there. I check it and I had 3 messages. They were all from Reed. I unlock my phone and press the message icon.

Reed♡: good morning❤
Reed♡: I already miss you😣
Reed♡: Can I come over??😆

I text him back,

Me: good morning☉
Me: and no you can't come over😣 colby and I are having a friend over.

Reed♡: ok😔

I shut my phone off and decide to get ready.

I put on a faded red shirt and black jeans with regular converse. I run water through my hair and then ta-da I was done. But first, I brush my teeth and put on deodorant. Okay now I'm officially done!

I walk out and see colby talking to a very ran yall guy. He was pretty cute...

As soon as he noticed me his head turned to Colby and then back to me. He smirked, he walked closer to me. I gave him a shy smile. He was now probably a foot away from me.

"Hey, I'm Brennen," his voice made me melt to the ground.

"Hey," I choked out. He smirked running his hands through his hair. I breath out, didn't know one as holding my breath. He looked at me with an acoplished look, like his job was done here. He walked into the kitchen and me amd colby walked right behind him.

I was probably heart eyes the whole time we were eating. Oh this is so embarrassing.

Soon the door bell rang, our heads all turned to the door. And I stood up looking at them.

"I'll get it," i walked over to the door wondering who it was. I swing the door open to see Jake standing there with flowers. My eyebrows nit together. And then I realise what is happening. My eyes widen as I push him out the door and push myself in the hallway. His smile fell from his face. I shut the door behind me so they couldn't listen in on my conversation.

"What the hell?" I whisper yell at him. He looked down, I think i made pore Jake is sad.

I grab his chin and lift his head up. He looks me in the eyes with a smirk.

"Will you go to prom with me?" I gasp as I throw my arms around him smiling joyful.

"Yes!" I repeat, and I love me and Jake back and forth in the hall. My face baried in his chest smiling.

I look up at him and he has his smirk on as usual. I let go of him quickly noticing what I'm doing. I fix myself and then look at him.

"Can we go in?" He asked and started to the door. I blocked him way with a slight smile.

"No let's go to yours, Colby has company over," I give him a reassuring smile and then peep my head in the door. "Hey I'm leaving with jake!"

I shut the door quickly and I gran his hand quickly and we walk down the long halls and to the elevator. Soon enough we were in Jake's car. Driving to his house. We had a couple conversations but other tyan that it was quiet besides mercy by Shawn Mendes playing lightly in the background. I started to hum, and then Jake turned it up loud enough i could sing. So i started to sing every part of the some and I personally think I'm good at singing.

The song was over and i leaned back in my seat. Jake turned down the music with an awe expression on his face. He looked at me for a second and then back at the road.

"Wow Sam that was amazing!" Jake has a littme laugh at the end. I smile and just say yeah and then we turned the music up again. This yime I didn't know the song so we just sat there in silence. But it was a comfortable silence in my opinion. I liked it, I liked it alot... maybe i like jake.. maybe i like him alot...
