Dak 🏈

When I got back into the house, Kimberly was elsewhere in the house. I didn't really bother to look for her because I knew she was somewhere in the house. This house was pretty big as it is. So trying to look for her was going to be a scavenger hunt.

I was removed from my thoughts by the sound of my phone ringing. I checked the screen to see her name. I answer it on the 3rd ring.

D: Hello?
U: Hey baby boy, how are you today?
D: I'm doing good. Just got finished dropping the kids off at school.
U: Really? So you're free right now?
D: Yeah pretty much.
U: Well how about you come over? I have a little surprise waiting for you.
D: Ooh, not today baby doll. I'm planning on taking Kimberly out today to get her mind off some things.
U: Okay then. I see, you respect your wife very much. But that's kinda hard to believe knowing that I receive the better dick.
D: Stop it.
U: I'm sorry daddy. I'm just very frustrated.
D: Sorry to hear that. But I have to go right now.
U: It's okay. Because by the end of the night, you're all mine.

Then after that, she hung up. I sigh, placing my phone into my pocket. I walk upstairs to me and Kimberly's room. She was in the bathroom showering when I entered the room.

I walk into the bathroom, listening to her hum to herself. Something she did when she wanted to keep her mind off things.

"Hey babe." I say.

"Jesus!" She exclaimed, jumping I suppose.

I grin.

"Dak you almost gave me a heart attack." She said.

"I'm sorry baby girl." I say.

She sighed.

"What's up?" She said.

"Can I join you?" I ask.

It was silent for a couple minutes, before she finally spoke.

"I was about to get out." She said.

I open the shower door, revealing her beautiful body to me. The same body that carried my 7 kids, is the same one that I fell in love with before I impregnated her.

"Looks like you're gonna have to stay in there for a bit more longer." I say.

"Dak, I'm really not in the mood today." She said.

"You never are. But that all changes once I'm deep inside, right?" I say.

She looked down at her feet.

"Exactly." I say.

After that was said, I stripped from my sweats and shirt. I then joined her in the shower and was giving her all 9 inches. Every inch counts for the times she's blown me off.

I know she missed it though 😏.

Kimberly came into the kitchen, patting her hair dry with a towel. After our rough housing in the shower, I finally broke the news to her that I'd be taking her out all day. Her and Cameron, unfortunately.

"What's the agenda?" She asked, walking toward me.

I chuckle, scrolling through my phone.

"We should hit the mall first. You look like you could use a whole new wardrobe." I say.

"Dak, I have tons of clothes, that I have yet to wear, in the closet already." She said.

"That was Summer, this is Fall and Winter we're talking about." I say.

She rolled her eyes. I smile, pulling her in between my legs by the belt of her white robe. Her back was to me, pressed against my chest.

"Let daddy treat you today. You deserve it mamas." I say, kissing her neck.

She sighed.

"Okay fine." She said.

I hug her waist.

"What about Cameron?" She asked.

"I'm sure Mo wouldn't mind having another child in the house." I say.

"I think she would." She said.

"I don't." I say.

"That's because you both don't like each other." She said.

"Exactly." I say.

I could tell she rolled her eyes, that's why I laughed. Before anything else was said, my phone was ringing again. I check it to see her name on the screen again.

"Who's that?" Kimberly asked.

"Nobody. Just an unknown number." I say, declining the call.

"Oh okay." She said.

"Yeah. But go get dressed. We have a long day ahead of us." I say.

I unwrap my arms and she begins walking to the stairs. I slap her ass as she walks away. She groaned after I did so, making me chuckle. It quickly faded when I saw a text from her.

Shit.

"I'll have the Shrimp Alfredo." Kimberly ordered.

I sat across from her at Olive Garden.

"I'll just take the Chicken Parmesan. Extra cheese please." I say.

The waitress nodded, writing down our orders. She then walked away and I directed my attention to Kimberly. Surprisingly, the mammoth said yes to watching Cameron for us. And of course Zeke was on board. He was down to drop everything for me, since Jeremiah's death.

"So how's my baby been doing?" I ask, sipping from my red wine.

"I'm getting there. Slowly but surely. It's a process." She explained.

"Trust the process babe." I say.

She smiled at my words of encouragement.

"What about you? How's the football life going?" She asked.

"Pretty good." I reply.

"You sure? The record says otherwise." She said, smiling at me.

"I don't care about the record." I say, shrugging.

She giggled at my bluntness. She folded her hands under her chin, looking at me dreamily. I grabbed her hands, rubbing my thumb over her ring and my other on her knuckles.

"I just want you to get better. For me. For the kids. And for yourself." I say.

She sighed, then nodded.

"Okay?" I say.

She nods again.

"Gimme kiss." I say.

She leans over to give me a quick kiss.

"I love you." I say.

"I love you too." She replied, smiling.

I kiss her again and she sits back down.

Just lunch with my wife.

Sorry if it's a short chapter, I couldn't quite think of anything else 😅. Hope you enjoy it though. And Happy Birthday Vivian! Enjoy your day girl 😘😇.
