"What are you doing later?" Dak asked.

"Sleeping." I say.

He rolls his eyes as I grin.

"Why? What's up?" I ask.

"I know this cool spot downtown. Was wondering if you'd like to go." He said.

"Would it be rude to say no?" I say.

"Very." He said.

"Then no." I say.

"Really?" He said.

I laugh.

"I'm kidding. Yeah I'll go." I say.

"You play too much." He said.

"I know right." I say.

He shakes his head.

"Is that where you take all your girlfriends?" I ask.

"I'm not answering that question." He said, sitting up off the island counter.

"Why not?" I say, giggling.

"Because I'm not." He said.

"Yeah okay." I say.

"You technically just called yourself my girlfriend." He said.

"No I didn't." I say.

"You kinda did." He said.

"And you kinda wanna get punched." I say.

He chuckles.

"I'll be here to pick you up at 8." He said.

"Great." I say, sarcastically.

"I'll see you later then." He said.

"Yup." I say.

He nods, walking to the front door. I follow behind him.

"Why are we going out so late though?" I ask.

He shrugs.

"Why would we go out early?" He asked.

I shrug. He rolls his eyes.

"I'll see you later Kim." He said.

"K." I say.

I close the door behind him, locking it.

Now what do I call this shit?

"Mommy, where are you going?" Elijah asked, watching me do my eyelashes.

"Apparently, daddy wants to go out tonight." I say.

"Without us? Whaaaaaat?" Jordan said.

I chuckle.

"Yeah." I say.

"Well...can you bring us back some food?" Jordan asked.

"There's food in the fridge." I say.

"I don't want that food." He said.

"You don't have much of a choice." I say.

He sticks his tongue out at me playfully. I shoo him out the bathroom.

"Mommy don't go." Elijah said.

"And why not Eli?" I say.

He shrugs. I chuckle.

"Well what do you want me to do?" I say.

"I don't know. Stay here with us." He said.

Before I could answer, the doorbell rang. I sigh, walking out the bathroom. I open the door with the mascara in my hand because this is the only make up I'm wearing.
