Kimberly ❤️
I wrapped my arms around Dak's neck tightly, holding him close to me.
"Babe, I have to go." He exclaimed, chuckling a bit.
"I don't want you to." I groan.
"I know. I don't wanna go either. But I have to." He said.
"When will you be back?" I ask, unwrapping my arms to play with the buttons on his shirt.
"9. Hopefully no later." He said, holding onto my waist.
I sigh, rolling my eyes.
"Aye, look at me." He said.
I look down at his shirt. He lifts my face from beneath my chin.
"Don't be sad okay? I'll be back sooner than you think." He said.
"Are you sure?" I say.
He kissed me, rubbing his thumb against my cheek.
"Positive." He said, then gave a reassuring smile.
I slightly smile back.
"I love you." He said.
"I love you too." I say.
"How much?" He asked.
"Very much." I exclaim, biting on my lower lip.
"Mhm, really?" He said.
"Yes." I say, smiling.
"Okay, I believe you." He said.
I giggle as he kisses all over my face.
"Alright, let me get going. I don't wanna be late." He said, removing his hands from my waist.
I pout and he kissed my lips.
"If you behave I'll have a surprise for you later." He said.
I blushed as he winked. He then made his way to the door, me following suit. I watched him walk to his car, then closed the door.
*****
"Mommy!!!" I hear.
I sigh. This is the 8th time in 2 minutes.
What the hell could they possibly be doing?
"What?!" I answer from the kitchen.
"Come here!" They exclaim.
I place the spoon down, trudging my way up the stairs. I literally didn't feel like it.
"Who called me?" I ask, once reaching the top of the stairs.
"Me." Jayden exclaimed, poking his head out of the door.
"What happened Jay?" I ask.
"I need help." He said.
"With what?" I ask.
He pointed at his Math HW.
"Uhhh." I exclaim.
He sighs. I blink. I sit down at the small table in the twins room and take the paper from him.
"Well it says...2 x 4 (5X + 3) = 15. What is the value of X?" I say.
He nods, looking at me.
"This sounds like a Dak Prescott kind of equation." I say.
He giggled at me putting the question on Dak.
"Mommy was never really that good at Math, but daddy was. Why don't you save this question for him when he gets home?" I say.
He nods in agreement.
