Kimberly ❤️

Later on that night, like around 1 or 2 am, I had went into Jordan and Elijah's room. I put fifty cent under his pillow and took the tooth.

I'm just fucking with you, I gave him $20. He should thank his father though because that fifty cent was really what his ass was gone get.

"You forever saving that boy. I'm gone get his ass one day." I say.

"And as long as I'm around, that will not be happening. Do not terrorize that boy like that." Dak exclaimed.

"Well tell him to act right in school." I say, shrugging.

"You are bad. Like grade A terrible." He said.

"And I'm proud of it." I say.

He rolls his eyes at me and I grin. I crawl back into bed with him, curling up against his side. I literally only woke him up so he could give me the 20 to give his son; I wasn't giving away my 20.

This $20 could get my ass a long way.

He wrapped his arm around my shoulder, holding me close. He left a few kisses on my forehead before burying his face in my hair. I sigh as I get comfortable in his embrace.

I sat at the kitchen island the next day, Saturday morning, sipping on a nice hot cup of tea. I feel a headache coming on and I kinda want to stop it before it starts.

"Mommy! Mommy! The tooth fairy gave me $20!!!"

I internally groan at Jordan's loud yelling.

Wake up the dead, why don't you?

I saw him come into the kitchen from my peripheral. I smile as he comes to show me the money.

"Look!" He exclaimed, holding the $20 bill in his hand.

"Ooo. What are you going to buy with it?" I ask.

"A new toy." He replied.

I blink.

More toys? As if the 6 of them don't have enough shit as it is, he's going to buy another toy?

Lord give me the strength.

"That's great Jordan." I say.

He smiles widely, running back to the hallway toward his room.

"No running." I say.

I hear his footsteps slow down for a bit, then he starts running again. I sigh.

Have kids, said no one ever. Let them be from Dak, said no one once again.

Speak of the devil and he shall appear.

"Good morning Dakota." I exclaim, watching him enter the kitchen in a white sleeveless Cowboys top and black shorts. He had his Bose earphones around his neck.

"Morning Kimberly." He said, walking toward me.

Wrapping his arm around my waist, he plants a kiss on my temple. I turn as he makes his way to the fridge.

"Thanks for the 20 by the way. I forgot to mention it last night." I say.

"Don't worry about it. I'd do anything for them." He said, turning back to face me with a few bottles of water in his hand.

I furrow my eyebrows in question.

"What's with all the water bottles?" I ask.

Before he can answer my question, Jayden, Jaylen and Jordan are walking into the kitchen area. All dressed in dry-fit sleeveless shirts and shorts.
