a deadly silence
that has you wary
but people forget
there is calm in a storm, too
for a moment,
it's just you
and the rain
the tears of angels
and the thunder
pounding in the heavens
and the lightning
light in the darkness
and the wind
giving you a taste
of how it must feel to fly
and for once
you don't have to think
about your problems
the world
the universe
because a storm may last a moment
but a moment is all it takes
