you underestimate me
think i am a harmless raindrop
think i am only a single gust of wind
only a ripple in an ocean of waves
if you truly cared to look
you would see
i am not harmless
i am the gust of wind
that can tear down mountains
i am not a ripple
not just a wave
i am a riptide
i am a rogue wave
i am everything
i want to be
do not try to shrink me
with your labels
who says i cannot be
quiet and confident
at the same time
who says i cannot be
scared and brave
at the same time
i am a raindrop
but i am also a hurricane
and hurricanes
do not like to be controlled
