everyone who teased me
everyone who stereotyped me
everyone who thought
"she's just a delicate little girl
who doesn't speak
and doesn't understand reality"
everyone who convinced me
i wasn't good enough
because
i actually
am grateful to you
thank you
for teaching me to
stand up straight
with my head held high
to speak softly
but make sure everyone listens
and to bow to no one
and i hope you
realize how much of a mistake
you made in
making an enemy of me
because i still don't know
if i'm going to be
a hero
or a villain
but either way,
you'll be sorry
so thank you for teaching me
so many important lessons
but look over your shoulder
because no matter what i become
you won't underestimate me anymore
