i used to believe
in fairy tales
i used to wish i was a princess
though i'm not sure why
anyone would ever want
to be a princess
they are always a
damsel in distress
never solving their own problems
and we all know that
in this world,
knights never come
when we need them
and i am looking for a sword
to find that i have no armor
only a crown,
which is of no use
because in this world,
princesses have to save theirselves
and no one ever
offers them a sword
so many are waiting for
a knight that will never come
