but i don't want to lose you.
maybe if i had taken the chance
i would be fine
and maybe he glistened
but you really shine.i'm so sick of being cautious
over and over, it makes me nauseous
and i want to finally rock the boat
sink or swim; fall or float?i have to do something quick
i'll lose you if i don't take a chance
but it's easier said than done

but what if i lose you anyway
can i survive another heartbreak?
and i try to be strong; i try to speak up
but i'm terrified and my voice shakes.they say history repeats itself
and maybe it's true
and i might have lost him
but i don't want to lose you.
