you always ignore me
until you need me
then you come back,
despite leaving me in the dust
only moments before
as soon as i can be helpful
to you
then you're nice to me
all sugary sweet smiles
and honey-like words
even though you
were vinegar before
i can't help feeling used
please stop
i'm a person,
not a rope for you
to only catch when you fall
don't come crying back to me
when you took a risk,
took a fall
you let go of the rope,
let go of me
and i'm not going to let you
grasp me again
i am not a rope anymore
what happens when there is no rope to catch you when you fall?
