i may be a raindrop
but that doesn't mean i'm harmless.
after all,
not only does a single raindrop
begin a raging storm,
but rain can freeze
into hail.
and perhaps the water
can empathize
and calm
but ice
is cold and unforgiving.
i may usually
be only a raindrop,
but when i freeze—
when i freeze into hail—
you'd better watch out.
