Five - The meeting
It was Saturday now, I had kind of made up to Lucas, but I know he doesn't doesn't trust Harry. Hell, he doesn't trust any man in my presence except for the ones in my family.
A knock on the door makes me frown, I wasn't expecting someone, but I still get up and open the door.
"Harry? What are you doing here on a Saturday?" I ask the boy in front of me.
"Didn't you want answers?" Harry asks. I nod hesitantly.
"Well, that's what we're gonna do, get answers," he tells me. I sigh and nod.
"Just give me some time to shower and get ready, I'm only up for like an hour," I tell him.
"Alright, can I wait here or do you want come to my apartment after you showered.?" he asks.
"You can stay here," I say and let him in.
"Alright, make sure to cancel all your plans, because we're gonna be there all day," Harry acknowledges.
"Not that I had any," I mumble walking over to my bathroom, now I just had to come up with an excuse for Lucas so he doesn't see me with Harry again.

The first thing I did when I was ready was text Lucas.
Can't meet you today, girls from work r coming over, it's gonna get late, maybe we can meet on Sunday
- Avery
It didn't take long before I got a text back.
Alright, maybe
- Lucas
I sigh and put my phone in the pocket of my jeans, he was obviously still not over the fact that Harry drove me back, why does he have to be so fucking possessive?
"Alright, I'm ready!" I let Harry know as I walk into the living room.
"Let's go then!" Harry chirps, god he was exited.
"Why so happy?" I inquire as we walk out of my apartment.
"Dunno, just exited for you to meet the rest, it's been a while since someone new came in," Harry tells me and shrugs.
"Alright then," I chuckle and follow him into the lift. The rest of the walk to the house is silent.
"Do you mind if I put on some music?" Harry asks, I shake my head.
"Nah, I don't mind." I reply. Soon the music of some band whose name I don't recall is playing trough the car as Harry drives us to wherever we need to be. I frown when we ride into a tunnel and then suddenly stop in front of a gate. Harry quickly looks behind him and scans the area.
"Did you see anyone following us?" he asks. I just shake my head, was someone following us?
"Just for safety reasons," he reassures me and then rolls down his window to stick his arm out. He puts his thumb on some kind of screen and suddenly the gates open. Harry rides into another tunnel and turns sometimes until we arrive at some kind of parking lot under the ground.
"Don't worry, you can also get here from somewhere else, once I am allowed, I'll show you," Harry says and smiles. I nod and get out of the car.
"Ready to meet the most important people of our alliance?" Harry inquires with a grin.
"Just get it on with," I mutter and follow him.
"Welcome to our safe house," he grins while descending the stairs that were in front of us.
