Twenty six- First mission

Waking up was the worst thing ever, I had to set my alarm for 6am and I fell asleep around 2 am. Of course I was stupid enough to forget my sleeping pills just when I couldn't sleep thanks to my insomnia that sometimes occurred.

"You're not looking too good today," Liam says when I walk into the living room.

"Are you sure you can come to the mission?" he asks, genuinely concerned.

"Just had a bad night sleep," I sigh.

"How come?"

"I don't have the best sleeping pattern. There are periods where I just never fall asleep, a bit like insomnia. But then there are periods where I have a normal sleeping pattern. For the nights I can't sleep the doctor prescribed me some sleeping pills, but I forgot them at my apartment," I explain.

"We can always stop by your apartment after the mission, I mean, you won't be alone. We can pick your car up also.

"That would be great, thanks Liam," I smile.

"No need to thank me, now get some breakfast and get dressed, we leave at 7."

"I'll be ready!"

"Avery?!" I hear a voice shouting.

"Avery! Where the fuck are you?"

"I'm coming!" I shout and grab my right shoe that I still had to put on.

"We're almost leaving!"

"I said I'm coming!" I shout running down the hallway trying to get my stupid shoe on. Just as I arrive at where everyone was standing I trip and land flat on my face. 

"I'm okay, I'm okay!" I say and get up. The rest just looks at me and then bursts out laughing. I feel my cheeks heating up and then put on my shoe correctly.

"Let's go, it's 7 am," Liam says.

"I told you I'd be ready," I say poking his side with my elbow.

"Yeah, but you still tripped and fell on your face," he retorts.

"You're never gonna let that go are you?"

"Nope."

"I'm sitting in the car where perrie's sitting!" I shout as we walk into the parking lot.

"We're taking the jeep," Perrie says and stands next to Zayn.

"Then we will have two seats left," he says.

"Jack and Finn and Niall you get in my car, Harry you stay with Zayn," Liam instructs and walks over to one of the other jeeps.

"Let's go," Zayn says and walks over to jeep. We all get in, Perrie and Zayn sitting in the front and me and Harry in the back.

"Quick question, why didn't you guys and Niall sleep here last night?" I ask Perrie and Zayn as we start driving.

"We don't like sleeping here," Perrie answers with a shrug. I nod and lean back into my seat and look out of the window. I sigh and lean my head against the window still looking outside. I close my eyes and fall asleep.

"We're here," a voice awakens me. I blink and sit up groggily. 

"Had a nice nap?" Harry asks with a smile. I just shrug and get out of the car. 

"Okay, let's check if we got everything before going in," Liam says when we're parked somewhere under the ground.

"Duct tape, recording device, camera, ear piec uhm I think we've got everything," Niall says after rummaging through his backpack.
