Eight - Ice queen
"What the fuck are you looking at?" I spat a Harry when I catch him looking at me.
"Look, I know I've been rude to you, but you don't have to be such a bitch okay? I'm sorry. Can't we work this out?" he asks and walks up to me. I let out a humourless laugh.
"Oh sure, after you accusing me of being someone I'm not we can work this out? And be friends?" I say sarcastically.
"Come on Avery," he begs me.
"No, never, you were a dick to me, I'm not letting you get away with this easily. I'm gonna make you regret this," I say ice cold. Harry narrows his eyes and looks at me with a vicious look.
"I apologized to you, can't you just let it go?" he sneers.
"No I can't! You know how many times I've had to deal with that? Just forgive someone? I'm gonna make you pay Harry! I'm gonna make sure you don't make the same mistake again!" I spat at him.
"You're really just an coldhearted bitch aren't you?" he retorts.
"No, I'm smart, I know not the make the same mistakes again," I say trough gritted teeth.
"Goodbye Harry."
"No," he says and grabs my wrist.
"I'm not letting you leave before you give me an explanation. I want to know why you want me to suffer."
"I'm not telling you, you don't deserve to know. Just do me a favour and leave me alone."
"No, if I leave you alone you won't forgive me, I want to know how you can forgive me, I want you to know you can trust me."
"I can't trust you!" I shout and yank my wrist from his grip.
"Then tell me! How can I make you trust me? Make you forgive me?" he asks, desparation in his voice. He was the first to ever hold his ground, to really make me forgive them.
Maybe he did care for me? Maybe he wasn't a bad guy?
No, Avery, you can't afford to think like that, you can't get close to someone again. But before I could tell him to back off, my mouth already opened and the words my heart wanted me to say got out.
"Show me," I whisper quietly.
"Show me why I can trust you, why I can forgive you."
"I will," Harry says.
"By the way, training today, go home, eat something and then meet me at my apartment, I'll drive you there," he says.
"No," I answer.
"I'll go to Liam's, he lives in the building next to ours right?"
"But Avery! I thought I had to show you how you can forgive me? I'm being nice!" Harry says mad.
"I'm going to Liam's and you can't stop me," I state and open the door of my car.
"God, you're difficult," he mutters. I turn around and look at him one more time.
"And one thing that will help is patience Harry," I inform him. He looks confused at me.
"Have patience with me."

I frown while I look trough all the name tags in the lobby, unlike in my building you had to have permission to get up to the apartments, I bet these apartments are more expensive than mine. Finally I find the name I need and pray that he's still at home.
