Nine - Part of the crew

"Frankly, Harry, I don't give a shit," I inform the boy as I dry my hair with a towel and look at him.

"I never said you had to listen to me," he states. He was beginning to learn that if I was pissed off you just have to deal with it and act normal to me. But I still couldn't trust him, I'm not stupid and I don't forgive easily.

"It's pretty hard to not listen when you're rambling, do you even stop to breathe?"

Harry chuckles at my answer and shakes his head as I hang the towel somewhere to let it dry.

"Let's just go to the others, we have to tell them that you're gonna be a part of the group," Harry states. I just nod and pick up my stuff. I follow Harry out of the shower room to the gym, when I see my bag I walk towards it and put all of my stuff in it. Afterwards I follow Harry to the kind of living room. On the way to here Liam had explained to me that this used to be Jack and Finn's living place. When they started this rebellion they needed a safe house. And this place was perfect, Jack and Finn still live here though.

I still wondered why these boys wanted to live so far away civilization. And how were they able to install such an advanced security system? It had improved since it became the safe house, but still, these boys were smart. As I'm in thoughts I keep on walking until I bump into someone.

"Wow, watch out there," I hear a voice. I look up and see a boy with brown hair looking at me with a grin.

"I'm sorry," I apologize and step back.

"That's alright, you're Avery right?" he asks.

"Yeah, and you are?" I ask.

"Finn," he answers and smiles.

"Oh, so you live here with your brother?" I ask.

"Yeah, Jack."

"Well, I have to leave now, gonna go to the rest of the group," I say and then walk away.

"There you are!" Harry acknowledges my presence when I walk into the room.

"Yeah, sorry, I ran into Finn," I apologize and sit down on the couch.

"That's alright, we were just wondering where you were," Liam tells me with a kind smile.

"Hey, do you guys know where the charger for my phone is?" I hear a voice. I look up and see Finn walking into the room, but with different clothes on.

"How did you get here so quick, Finn?" I ask confused.

"Uhm, I'm Jack," the boy answers.

"That explains why you're wearing different clothes," I mumble.

"Let's just get to business," Liam states and claps in his hands.

"I need my charger first, Liam, you know how important my phone is," Jack whines.

"I think it's somewhere in the bathroom," Liam sighs and makes a hand gesture.

"In the bathroom?" Jack asks surprised and walks off.

"I thought he was never gonna stop complaining," Zayn sighs.

"Yeah, just cut the crap, what do you guys need to know to let me into the group?" I ask bluntly. Liam looks at me with raised eyebrows.

"Well, you really just jump into it don"t you?" he says. "We just need to be sure you're not gonna tell anyone about us. Well, were we hide and all that stuff. If the Ravens get that information we're pretty much screwed and we can forget about ever getting this city back into our own hands. "
