Six - Arguments

"Avery! We're leaving!" I hear a voice shouting.

"Help me," I mouth at the group but they just burst out laughing.

"What's so funny?" I hear Harry, I look up at him at see him narrowing his eyes.

"Nothing, let's just go home," I quickly state and stand up.

"You were talking about me weren't you?" he asks clearly mad.

"Well, if you mean that I told them you're a complete dickhead, then yes, I was talking about you, not them," I answers coldly.

"Let's just go," he mutters and says his goodbyes to the others. I get up sighing and also say goodbye to the others.

"I have the feeling you're not gonna talk to me for following days," I tell Harry as he drives us out of the tunnels. And as I expected, he didn't utter a word.

"God, you can be complicated, what did I do wrong? If want me to be nicer, you're gonna have to wait, I'm not nice to people whom I've just met," I ramble.

"Just shut up," Harry sighs. I looked to my right and saw that he look tired, really tired. What happened to him?

At first I didn't really wanna know about him, I didn't want anything to do with him. I just bared with him because he protects me. But now, now I wanna know why he suddenly hates me. It's obvious he's got a back story, just like me. And now I want to know that back story.

Oh dear, I was growing fond of Harry, shit no, that can't happen. What will Lucas do if he finds out that Harry might become a friend? What if he breaks up with me because of this curly boy?

Thanks to Lucas I only have female friends, well, maybe like two, I wasn't really the popular girl at school, I had a 'reputation' one that I was not proud of, one that was not even true. So no one really wanted to be friends with me.

And those other two friends? I've kind of lost contact with them, they used to live where I lived, but now we've gone our own way.

"I'm sorry," I suddenly blurt out.

"You're sorry?" Harry asks confused.

"For whatever happened to you," I explain. Harry lets out a humourless laugh.

"You're sorry?" he asks. "After being so rude, after not giving me chance and just baring with me for your own safety you're sorry? Well guess what Avery, you're just like them, you don't give a shit about me, you're just a heartless bitch. The only reason you said you're sorry is because you don't want to be mad at me, because you want to be liked!"

I hold back the tears that were welling up in my eyes. Don't cry, don't cry, don't cry.

"Don't fucking cry," Harry grumbles.

"Stop the car," I speak softly.

"What?"

"Stop the fucking car!" I exclaim.

"Why?" Harry asks, never taking his eyes off the road.

"Because obviously you don't want me here!" I cry out.

"I'm still driving you home." he says. "It's not that far anymore."

I sigh and look out of the window, there was no way I would try to be nice to Harry anymore, he has been a total ass and I'm not putting up with it, at all.

The rest of the drive is in silence, no one says a word and I'm glad it's that way, I don't think I would be able to keep it all in if Harry would argue with me. When Harry has parked the car I immediately get out and climb the stairs, I don't care my apartment was on the fifth floor, I wanted to get a way from Harry.
