After Shane and Rick's failed attempt at releasing Randall, I found Daryl with bloody knuckles the next day.

"Where'd you get these?" I ask, already knowing the answer.

"Mind your business."

I grab his hands and he grunts out in pain. "Tell me now?"

"You already know. It was Randall. We need to know about his camp. We can't have them attacking the camp, our women...you." He looks away. "His group has over thirty men and what they'll do to us...I'm on my way to tell the others."

"When you're done, let me bandage your hands, okay? Repay you for my head." I grin and he nods.

I head to the house to check on Beth. After her incident yesterday and my dealings with my sister, I thought I could at least see how she's doing.

"How's Beth?" I ask Hershel.

"She seems to be better after your sister visited her."

I grabbed the door frame in shock. "My twin sister? Milly?"

He nods, smiling at me. "Yes, she brought lavender. I don't know where she found the plant but she did. Also chatted with my daughter for a while. It seemed to brighten her day a bit. Tell your sister that I thank her for that."

I nod, still stunned. "Could I talk to her?"

He nods. "Sure."

I go in and sit down beside her bed. "Hello, Beth. You probably don't know me at all."

"It's okay. Your sister talked about you a lot." She smiles as if recalling the conversation with my sister at that moment.

"All good things hopefully?"

"Of course. She loves you. Even if she can't express it all the time. I'm glad I got to talk to her."

"I'm glad you did, too. I miss her."

"She misses herself, too."

Dale catches up to me while I'm walking along the perimeter.

"What's up, Dale?"

"Did you hear about the execution of Randall?"

I pause, feeling cold inside. "I-I can't say that I have. Is there a meeting, or was it just decided?"

"There's a meeting to vote on it at sunset. Do I have your support to not execute the poor boy?" He pleads.

"I honestly don't have an opinion, Dale." I sigh, rubbing my temples.

"You're worse than Daryl. If you don't have an opinion, help me save a life!"

"Okay, well I do have an opinion, then. His group could be dangerous and he could be too. I have to protect my family foremost." I start to walk again but he gets in my path.
