Kim Mi Cha life was a miserable one since her mother had died at a young age. By 22 she was taking care of her alcoholic father who was often abusive to her. Her only respite would be when he'd leave her to go gamble as his addiction was getting o...
The plane ride to Switzerland was a quiet one. Jeon spent most of the time sleeping soundly next to Mi Cha. Mi Cha needed something to calm her nerves because Jeon was making her nervous. She walked the plane to the bar and ordered a scotch. As she sat there nursing her drink slowly she tried to figure out what was going on in Jeon's head. He had barely said two words to her since they boarded the plane. Something just felt off here.
She downed the rest of her drink. Sat for a moment before exiting the plane bar. She scanned the first class seats till she saw Jeon's head still sleeping soundly. She sat down next to him and watched him sleep. He looked so peacefully and truly handsome. She reached to brush his hair out of his face. He stirred but did not wake. Mi Cha pulled her hand back and faced forward in her seat for the duration of the flight.
Mi Cha doesn't remember getting off the plane or going through customs but before she knew they were driving up this long gravel driveway to her house. She shook the sleep from her eyes. "We're almost there, it's just up the hill. " Jeon explained but his eyes stayed on Mi Cha waiting to see her reaction.

Mi Cha couldn't believe her eyes. They widen and her mouth dropped open in shock. How on earth could a home be this beautiful!! She turned to look at Jeon. He held himself guarded and Mi Cha did something she never thought she'd do. She hugged her husband.
Jeon tensed up and froze as Mi Cha's warm body pressed against him and her arms wrapped around his neck. She whispered in his ear, "Thank you, Jeon." He felt her smile into his hair but he remained stoic. When she pulled back, unshed tears lay in her beautiful brown eyes. Jeon set her back a bit from him so he could breathe because she was messing with his head. "This is all your, Cha. It's my gift to you. Even if we break up, you can still keep it and I will maintain it so you can live here as you like or visit whatever." Jeon promised her but that an odd thing to say only being married only a week.
It was already well into night and the jet lag from the long flight weighed heavily on Mi Cha's body. She yawned and suddenly found herself being lifted and carried bridal style in her home and to the master bedroom. Soon as you head hit the soft pillows, she was sleeping.
