What would this trip lead to? A fresh start, an inevitable ending or something else? Jeon almost lost his wife last night he didn't want to see her die like that so maybe he could try to do better.  He was going to try.  That was a start right?  He needed to get his heart and head on the same page, easier said than done though.

Jeon wasn't kidding this horse-back riding trip was a long one. They had been riding for what seemed like hours. The weather was pleasant and breezy. The horses were calm and trotted along the marked path briskly. Mi had never ridden a horse but for her first time she was doing too bad. Jeon rode just slightly ahead of her but always keeping a close watch on his wife.

"Are you alright, Mi?" Jeon looked behind to see his wife with her eyes closed, head tilted back slightly the sunlight shining on her face and for a moment she appeared to look happy or content. We'll be crossing a small stream soon then coming up to a checkpoint. At that point we're leaving the horses behind and walking the rest of the way there by foot. Shouldn't take longer than an hour or so."

Mi nodded. After dropping off the horses at the checkpoint Jeon motioned for Mi to follow him up a small narrow dirt and rocky pathway. It was sharp and windy and curved up higher and as they got further after from the checkpoint the tree coverage got thicker blocking out the sunlight.

Mi stumbled several times but always politely refused Jeon's assistance. She was getting tired. She finally stopped to lean against a tree to rest, wiping the sweat collecting on her forehead. She felt Jeon's presence come up beside her. He handed her a cold water bottle. "Here drink this. You are getting dehydrated. The cabin is just past those group of trees at the top of the hill."

Jeon was right after a short rest they trekked up the short distance past the group of trees to a clearing and what could not be the cabin that Jeon was talking about. This was no cabin. Well maybe to Jeon it was. It was beautiful.

"You aren't serious about this right? Thiis can't the cabin you were talking about

"You aren't serious about this right? Thiis can't the cabin you were talking about." Mi's eyes were bugging out of her head at the sheer size of this cabin. It was enormous. It was nestled deep in the woods but you could still smell the sea in the air.

Jeon put on the passcode and made his way into the house. Mi followed right behind him. She was stunned by the interior of the house as well. Her feet were screaming so she plopped down on the nearest comfy couch she could find.
