Chapter Twenty-Seven

"Honestly, Areon, do you really think everything's gonna go all wrong tonight?" Airtressa asked. Areon pouted as he shifted himself to face the opposite direction of Airtressa.

"I honestly don't even care anymore, hon. Just go to sleep." Areon sighed, closing his eyes. Airtressa glanced at her sleeping husband before drifting off into sleep herself.

"Mess, you can't sit here all night waiting for Jiggly and Ario to screw each other so you can slice Ario's head off afterwards." Jester protested then looked at his watch."Messenger Ann Dragolia, it's almost midnight."

"Shush!" Messenger sounded, holding a claw to Jester's mouth. Jester's eyes narrowed as he glared at the Dragonian princess. He pushed a strand of hair away from his face.

"Don't EVER use my full name, Hyptonio, or I swear I am gonna make sure those are the last words you say!" Messenger threatened, bringing her hand to circle Jester's neck. The blonde-haired Hyptonian prince stared in fear at Messenger's claws pondering across his neck.

"Okay, Mess. Just don't kill me." Jester squeaked, his fingers inching up to take the sharp claws from his skin.

"Oh fine. Take out all the damn fun." Messenger's claws retracted into her hand.

"Okay, so I'm tellin' you not to interfere. If it were you-" Jester started to explain. Messenger's stripes turned a dark blue.

"Shut up! I can do whatever the fuck I want to do so shove it!" Messenger retorted. Jester stood up and walked away."Wimp." Messenger glared at the closed door when she heard a lamp crashing.

"What was that?" Jester asked, snapping his head to face the door. Messenger kicked the door, trying to open it.

"Open the damn door Ario! Or I swear this day will be your last!"
