Murdoc x reader [Unaware]

Tomorrow comes today

You planned on talking to 2d about what happened with Nao tomorrow, you were going to go with Murdoc to Kong Studios and most importantly going to be prepared to talk about it. But like the Gorillaz song says tomorrow comes today.

A moment ago you were sitting on the couch watching your favourite show on tv with Murdoc, having a peaceful Saturday afternoon. The next moment you're on the dining table sitting with a crying 2d, a pissed off Murdoc and a lying Nao. It's a pile of shit, you can't believe such a good friend like Nao would do this.

'Yes 2d, It's all Murdoc's fault! He told (f/n) to try and have sex with me!' Nao claims desperately.

'That's bullshit! That's not what happened!' Murdoc shouts.

'Come on Nao, you're making it a bigger deal than it needs to be' You say in a stern tone.

'I- I dunno who to believe!' 2d shouts in distress.

'Nao please... tell him the truth' you ask calmly.

'NO!' Nao says angrily, revealing she was lying.

'Nao, what the fuck?!' 2d wails.

'You idiot, just blew yer own cover' Murdoc says shaking his hair in relief at Nao's loss. 2d cups his face in his hands and cries even more, Nao gets up from her seat and puts her hand on 2d's shoulder, 2d looks up at her.

'Why'd you say all them lies?' 2d blubbers. You feel really bad for 2d as he always has to get broken down in the end and this time it wasn't even Murdoc who fucked it up.

'Goodbye 2d, I'll miss you', Nao says solemnly as she caresses 2d's face completely disregarding his question. Nao picks up her coat hanging on the end of her chair and walks out the door, 2d watches her shut the door and just sits there stunned for a moment. 2d then sits up and runs after Nao, you get up from your seat and open the door and look through the corridor but they're nowhere to be seen.

'Aye they're outside', Murdoc says as he Motions for you to come to the balcony of your apartment.

You go to the balcony and luckily you can see what's going on and if 2d's ok as you're only on the third story. You stand beside Murdoc on the balcony ledge and see 2d grab Nao's face and kiss it with all his might... WTF is going on. 2d then breaks his kiss and holds Nao's hands and looks her in the eyes.

'Nao, I don't want things to be over. It's ok if you fucked up. I just need to know if what they said is true and why did you try to lie about what happened?'

'It's true... I just didn't want you to know cuz you've been fucked over by love so many times. You don't deserve this... I feel like a piece of shit' Nao's voice gets shakier as she continues to speak and by the end of it she breaks down crying on 2d's shoulder, he hugs her tightly.

'I'm happy you told me the truth. I've never felt so close to anyone... that's why I wanna ask. Do you wanna do this for ever?' 2d asks in his soft voice.

'Are you asking me to marry you', Nao asks as she wipes her tears and smiles.

'Yeah' 2d replies calmly. You're stunned and you look to see Murdoc's face. His jaw is barely attached to his face... 2d had never been this brave in his life.

'Of course' Nao says as she laughs softly and pulls 2d into a passionate kiss.

You and Murdoc have seen enough, you both walk back inside and sit on the couch in silent shock for what seems to be an eternity, in your mind you consider what you witnessed and all the potential futures.

Then there's a knock on the door.
