Murdoc x reader [Unaware]

Reality

You wake up under a dull, clinical light with two beings dressed in blue hovering above you. You feel trapped, so sporadically burst upwards and sit, the two beings move back and cheer.

'She made it!' they cheer.

You have so many questions, yet you can't physically get yourself to speak, all of a sudden your body becomes jelly and you melt back onto the mat you were laying on and fade away into the clinical light.

(Time skip)

You awaken once again in what appears to be a hospital bed, to your left is Murdoc in a hospital bed and to your right is Mike. You begin to panic and then realise the relevance of your dream. You slowly sit up and feel pain throughout your bandaged body, and tears fall from your eyes. You look around in false hope and on the side table to your left is a letter. You move your fragile arms towards it and manoeuvre the letter so you can read it.

"Dear (f/n),

In this letter I will explain to you everything that has happened.

We went to Paula's lair in Al Buraq and Paula was one step ahead, you, Mike and Murdoc attained critical injuries and so I did what I had to. I aborted the mission and took you to intensive care where I found that you suffered head trauma and mild amnesia hence the letter.

Then I took matters into my own hands. I went to Paula's lair and ended everything, you no longer have any Paula related worries.

And there is one more thing. I didn't make it. If I had I would've told you all of this in person. But don't be sad, imagine that I'm in space somewhere with Valorie and soon enough you will join me.

I guess that's all kid,

You sob at the letter and the frightening similarity to your dream. You picture Mohammed and Valorie happy together and take a deep breath as you feel more at ease. You go to put the letter back and out falls a photo, you observe the photo is of a woman and recall her uncanny similarity to how you imagined Valorie. From all these links you conclude that you met Mohammed and Valorie on the Astral Plane and got to say goodbye before you came back to earth and Mohammed went to Valorie. You feel satisfied.

(2 months later)

You're sitting beside Murdoc under the blanket of night, gazing at the stars. You feel at peace being beside your soulmate and believing that Mohammed and Valorie are up there somewhere. You hug Murdoc tighter as you feel grateful to have him beside you and enjoy the night.
