Secret Agent (5 Seconds of Summer)

The First Assignment

So it is the beginning!! The beginning of a new fanfiction, and my development of a new obsession.

I don't know what motivates me as a writer, I think with these Australian beauties I feel kinda sad that I've never met an Australian before so the chances of meeting these guys are below zero xD I don't know who they are as people but from what I gather on tumblr they seem like awesome guys and you know what I want to know awesome guys!

I feel as if tumblr has influenced this decision to write this fanfic, so um I hope you enjoy it! :D

I sat in the back of the grey van amongst my colleagues and groaned at the balaclava on my head. 

"This thing is so itchy! You'd think we could afford a more comfortable disguise." I began pulling and rubbing at the material on my face.

"Shut up, I'm trying to focus." My boyfriend, James, shut his eyes as he gripped his gun tightly. I couldn't see the expression on his face but I could sense that there was a smile on his face, besides his snide remark. The others stayed silent as the van swerved in different directions through the journey.

"One minute until target reached." Laura, my higher in command stated in a monotone voice, and we all straightened up. I cleared my throat to break the silence between the 5 other people in the van. 

The car stopped and instantly we piled out of the van, filing into the large building. One of the male commanders, Dan, began shooting into the air as passerby's screamed, ducking as they tried to avoid us, but by that time we already had the doors sealed shut. There was no way out for them.

It was time to make ourselves millionaires. 

"Get down onto the ground! We can do this the easy way...or the hard way. As long as you all keep quiet and follow my instructions, you'll all leave this room alive."

A woman began to cry whilst her face was pressed to the ground, and I smirked at her. 

Stupid girl. 

I turned to James, recognising him from his eyes and body build, and nodded over to the woman. James's eyes lit up in response. 

"Control yourself, Fox."

"I didn't do anything!"

"Felton." Laura snapped, before heading towards the cashier. The lady at the cashier looked stunned at Laura, before her eyes rolled to the back of her head and she fainted. 

"Shit." I muttered, before looking over to the door when sirens began to fill my ears. I looked towards James, whose eyes seemed reassuring. This was my first time doing such a big mission, but James had been on plenty. We can do this. 

Ten minutes in, and I felt my eyes looking over at one couple. A man was comforting his wife, who was shaking in fear while the money was being loaded from the safe. He was whispering words into her ear, and I tried to lip read him.

Do you trust me

Instantly I was on alert, shaking my head and pointing my gun to them. 

"You two- move."

I stepped towards them, and the woman looked at me with wild eyes as the man shook her head at me.

Laura gave me a curious look. "Fox."

"I know what I'm doing." I turned to look at her. "he is up to no good-"

As soon as Laura began to lift up her gun, I knew I shouldn't have turned my back. I should have kept my eyes on the couple. A pair of arms wrapped around my body, grabbing at the bottom of my balaclava and lifting it over my face.

My cover was blown. The fake name wouldn't help me anymore. 

I lifted my gun behind me, slamming the gun into his head for him to let go of me, but it was too late. 

A gun fires.

I look over at the man who had jumped at me. He was on the floor, blood gushing out of his stomach. The woman cries loudly beside him. I look back to Laura, just before the second bullet slammed into my chest. 

"NO!" James yelled. My hair flew around my face as I crashed to the floor. "Gem!"

"Let's get out of here." Laura yelled. Dan had two bags of cash, and Laura carried another. 

"No. I can't leave her to die." James' eyes connected with mine, and we bother knew I was a goner. It was too late. "Why?"

"They know who she is now. She would have done the same if it was me, or you. Now lets go." She yelled at him. "Unless you want to be like her too, come on." I heard footsteps, and James kissed my head, whispering his love to me before exiting with the rest of the group. 

Next they would grab a hostage and use her to get out of the building alive. Get to the van alive. Then leave with the money alive, ditching the hostage. 

I blacked out before they even left the building. 

 Well hope you enjoyed the first chapter! The 5SOS guys will be introduced in the next chapter :D I've read loooads of 5SOS fanfics for the past few days so I could 'know' them a bit better, and you all are great writers :D
