Calum POV
Waking up to loud arguing in the morning, I groaned as I jumped out of bed, only in my boxers.
Michael was waving his hands in the air as he tried to stop the smoke coming out of the toaster. Georgia flicked through a magazine casually not paying attention until the kitchen alarm goes off. Ashton bursts into laughter as Luke smirked at the scene.
"Guys what is going on?" I laughed, going over to open the windows, and looked over to see a few girls outside taking photos of me from the ground. I felt my eyes widen as I backed away. Shit. I was only in my boxers.
"Put some clothes on, dude. You're making the young girls outside blind." Michael joked, and I nodded, looking over at Georgia. She was smirking at Michael, and as soon as she turned her head to me, she instantly recoiled and looked down, avoiding eye contact with me.
I need to apologize to that girl.
"Gee, can I talk to you for a sec? In private?"
Even though she looked like that was the last thing she wanted to do, she nodded, getting up and following me into my bedroom.
"What do you want?" She folded her arms as I began putting clothes on.
I sighed. "Can we pretend like the other night didn't happen? I'm really sorry for just pushing you away but I can't promise it won't happen again." I muttered, looking away. "I missed our cuddles and chats."
Georgia looked at me, shocked. "Wow. So you expect me to stay in your bed and have that humiliation again? Last time I checked, friends don't do that." She shook her head, turning to leave, but I grabbed her arm.
"Gee, I'm sorry if you're mad at me. Please, please don't be mad." I pouted at her and gave her puppy dog eyes. Her eyes began to soften, and she pulled a face, tugging on my hand.
"Dammit, Cal. Why do you do this to me?" I grinned at her and pulled her into a hug. I kissed her forehead as I let go of her.
"Thank you." I whispered, before chuckling. "Ashton was so pissed off yesterday cause you chose Luke's bed over his."
Georgia blushed. "Yeah, I could tell. I'll switch it up, Michael needs some Gee-lovin' too."
I followed her out of my room and grinned at Ashton who looked over at us. He raised his eyebrows and I nodded.
"Mate, girls have been tweeting you basically naked." Ashton laughed, pulling out his phone and he began talking to his phone. "Hold on, I'm just going to go on my Instagram....hey everyone, we're going to be performing tonight in London so hopefully we'll see you there!" He spun around and I waved madly before picking Georgia up and spinning her around. She giggled madly as she clung to me. I felt my eyes widen, and I looked to Ashton.
"Dude, do that again, would people think that was a bit too much?"
Ashton rolled his eyes. "Don't worry about it."
"You worry too much!" Michael grinned, eating a slice of burnt toast. He choked, spluttering the black crumbs over the counter. Georgia ran over to him, checking to see if he was okay.
"What time is soundcheck?" Georgia asked, and I spoke up.
"In an hour." I cleared my throat. The minutes ran by and soon we were all climbing into a car to head to soundcheck. Ashton led Georgia to soundcheck by putting a hand on the small of her back. I walked alongside them as we passed a large group of screaming girls. I waved at them brightly.
"CALUM I LOVE YOU!" A girl began to cry and I smiled, walking over to her as she tried to reach me through the gates.
"Hi!" I squeaked, and recieved screaming in response.
Happens all the time.
"Calum!" Georgia grinned at me, walking over. She grabbed my arm, pulling slightly. I took a quick photo with the girl and then wrapped an arm over Georgia's shoulder as I led her into the building. A large security guard stopped her from entering through the stage door once the screamings dulled.
"Who is this?" The security guard questioned, and I smiled tightly at him.
"She's a friend." I answered.
"Your agent said no friends or family until the actual show." I widened my eyes. "She's going to have to leave."
"Excuse me, Mr... I'm Georgia Kingsley, don't you know who I am?" I looked over to Georgia, a grin on my lips as she stood up to him. "Capitol Records? Ring any bells? I suggest you let me in."
I laughed loudly when we successfully walked past the security man. A frown was on Georgia's face, so I gave her a little squeeze.
"That was funny, what's wrong?"
"I...I don't want my title to change anything. I'm just a friend." She shrugged. "I should go." She turned around to leave, but I pulled her back.
"Woah, woah. Stop being all dramatic..is everything okay?"
She looked to the ground, shaking her head. "No, I'm fine. That guard just pissed me off a lot."
"I'll make sure it doesn't happen again."
As soon as Georgia was with the rest of the band, I gave my agent a call.
"Calum? How are things?"
"Good, we're at soundcheck now. Can I ask you to put Georgia Kingsley on every list of ours perminantly?"
"As in...the daughter-"
"-Yes. Security wouldn't let her in to sound check and it hurt her feelings. If it happens again...we might not get the gig at Capitol Records, okay? Don't let it happen again." I muttered, hanging up and turning around to see Georgia. My mouth fell open. "Georgia."
"So you're using me to get into my Dad's company? I'm out of here..." She ran past me, and I felt my eyes well up.
"Gee! It's not what it looks like!" I caught up with her but she swung her arm and slapped me across the cheek.
"You were the one I felt closest to out of everyone and you're just using me!"
Gemma POV
I had to get out of there.
Even though I had only known them for a few weeks, hearing Calum on the phone to his agent really hit home. I left because I felt like I led myself to think Calum actually cared, with a mixture of common sense. If Georgia Kingsley existed, the band would be screwed.
Georgia, get back there. Henry said loudly, and I shook my head, bursting into tears.
"I'm not fucking Georgia!" I cried, grabbing my earpiece and throwing it to the ground. They can't talk to me anymore. I was done. This wasn't me. I wasn't some stupid boyband bodyguard.
"Gee?" I heard Ashton's voice. My heart jumped slightly. I shook my head as I dropped to the floor. "Oh Gee..."
"Leave me alone."
Ashton wrapped his arms around me in comfort.
"Babe...look at me."
I opened my eyes slightly just before I saw Ashton's face get closer to me and he softly kissed the corner of my lips. It caused a reaction in me which I didn't expect, which was comfort mixed with adrenaline, to which I responded by turning my head and crashing my lips to his.
