Secret Agent (5 Seconds of Summer)

Chapter 24:

Ashton POV

"Luke, have you seen Gee?" I jogged through the house in search for her. Luke shrugged, and Calum looked up from his phone.

"I haven't seen Mike anywhere either. They're probably together making Gikey babies right this second."

I laughed at them. "Don't make fun of me! I can't help being in love with Mikey's lover!" I fake cried to them, and chuckled. I saw a note on the table and frowned, picking it up.

"Bro, there's a note for Gee here." I quickly tore it open and I looked around, confused. 

"What was it?"

"'Stay away from 5SOS or I'll tell them your dirty secret.'" I read out. "Did someone write my girlfriend a fucking threat letter? How the fuck did it get in here?"

Just then, Michael and Georgia came walking in, and I headed straight to them and handed her the note.

"Look at this!" I exclaimed.

"What?" A giggled slipped through Georgia's lips. 

Gemma POV

Someone tried to send me a fucking threat? Do they know who they're talking to? I dropped it on the table, shaking my head in laughter. Ashton frowned.

"I think we need to take this very seriously, babe. You could have died from this girl's words."

"It could be a boy." Michael intervened, shrugging. I went on my tiptoes to kiss Ashton's cheek, and he grinned at me.

"I'm a big girl, I can handle myself." I whispered in his ear, and Ashton laughed. 

"Oh yeah? What about me? I don't want my girlfriend to get killed by some fan."

I hope he's joking. 

Ashton POV

In the evening, we decided on having a film night, and halfway through the film, we heard a loud crash. We put the TV on mute and Georgia got up to investigate. Michael sighed.

"You don't have to, Gee." He murmured, but didn't intervene. I pulled out my phone to make a short video about how we're going to die.

"We think that someone is in our house...Cal I don't want to die!"

Minutes later, Gee appeared, grinning with a puppy in her arms.

"I found a lost puppy!" 

It might have been an adult, but instantly Calum had the dough eyes and pout.

"He's so cute! Hey- I think he likes me!" He grinned as the dogs began licking his legs. I chuckled as I pointed the camera at the dog.

"It's just a dog! I think Calum kidnapped him." 

"Can we keep him?" Calum patted the dog, and I shook my head.

"He has an owner who might be looking for him right now!" I argued, picking up the puppy and walking back to where Georgia had come from in a jokey way. "I'm sending him back in the post now."

Calum whined loudly. "No! We're best mates now you can't take him away from me!"

Georgia giggled, before looking up at Michael. He was signalling for her to go to the other room with him, but I didn't think anything of it as I was too distracted by the puppy.

Gemma POV

Michael shut the door behind us quickly, before pulling out the note we found earlier.

"Do you have any clue who could have sent this?"

I shrugged, not caring. "It's nothing."

"It's not nothing, Gee. What if they know?"

"Michael, you're overeacting. I'm a big girl. I'm trained to kick ass if I need to."

Michael frowned at me. "How did it get here?"

I smiled at Michael before pulling him into a hug. I kissed his cheek quickly. "Thanks for caring about me, but the less you know the better.

Michael nodded, before opening his mouth to speak. "I'm worried about Cal."

I raised my eyebrows. "What? Is he okay?"

"He seems a little distant lately, I don't know why. It's probably nothing." Michael shook his head, smirking. I grinned.

"I'll sneak into his bed tonight. Sure Ash won't mind."
