I sat in Calum's bed as the boys got ready for their day in the studio. I had stayed in their flat for a few days, coming home so late that there was no point in going to my fake apartment. I told them that I saw a rat in my apartment so the exterminator was going to get rid of them for me. Until then, I had no place to stay.

They bought it.

I don't think they would have cared what answer I gave, Calum enjoyed having someone to cuddle to at night and I was fulfilling my job as secret protection of the band.

I think out of all of them, I had grown closer to Calum. Not in a sexual way, but more like I could consider Calum an acquaintance...maybe even a friend. Michael was rubbing off on me with his quirky sayings and heartwarming smile. Luke was still very shy with me but all Ashton wanted to do was be around me. I couldn't explain what Ashton was, but he was a funny guy. Already I doubted myself. What if the security measures fell through and the fans began to hurt my band? Would I choose one member over the others to save?

Why the heck was I protecting a band over a few teenage girls? This wasn't what I work years for.

I just knew for certain that I didn't want to share a prison cell with the rat that was part of my previous team.

Calum came out of the bathroom, having brushed his teeth, and he smiled brightly at me.

"We have a meeting today. Could be a while. You can stay here if you like?" He was walking around in boxers. Only boxers.

I shrugged. "I don't have much better to do. How are you getting there?"

Calum pouted. "They're having a car come for us by the back entrance. Some fans found out we were staying here for a few weeks so now there's a crowd."

"What happens after a few weeks?"

"We continue our tour..." He looked sad as he put on some shorts and a t-shirt.

"You look like a child on Christmas Day, Cal...what's up?" I smiled at him, and he shrugged, coming to sit down.

"Well we won't get to see you when we go, right?"

I smirked. "You fail to forget that I don't actually have a job. Being your friend is the best thing to happen to me for a while." I felt my eyes widen slightly at what I just said. I sounded so...sweet.

His eyes widened and he smiled brightly at me. "Would you come with us?"

I shrugged. "If I have nothing better to do, and if the rest of the band wanted me to...?"

Calum bounced happily on the bed before tackling me in a hug. "Yay!"

Luke yawned as he entered the room, and raised an eyebrow at Calum. "You okay, mate?"

Calum nodded, letting go of me and jumping out of the room. Luke came down to sit next to me and I sent him a smile. He grinned at me.

"You really want to come on tour with us?" He must have overheard our conversation.

"I like spending time with you guys." I laughed. Or maybe just...I have to. "You guys are pretty cool."

Luke laughed, lying down on his front. "Thanks Gee, I don't think we'll mind having a girl around our tour bus. We'll try convince management to let us keep you."

I doubt that would be difficult. "You make it sound like I'm a pet!" I giggled, and Luke cracked a grin.

"I think I'll name you....Gee. Sounds like it would really suit you!" He joked, and I rolled my eyes.

I think Luke was a bit of a cutie. He was quite shy with me at the start but he's beginning to open up to me, which is the reason why the more he opens up to me, the more I begin to realise that I quite liked being here. It was easy to be their friends. It was easier to like them, but so difficult to not tell them who I was. I wanted so badly for them to know the real me, but I wasn't sure who the real me was anymore.
