Gemma POV
As I headed into the bathroom with Ashton's shirt, I quickly began speaking quietly to the earpiece, aka Henry from his workplace in the van which had been following our tracks since the party.
"You can go home now, I have this covered."
"Are you sure? I can stay for another hour or so..."
"I'm sure."
Henry chuckled. "You're eager. By the way...try not to fraternize with these guys. Not sure how well that will work out for you. Or it would seem that they have already decided that they won't, from what I can hear from the other room..."
I pressed my ear to the door quickly, trying to hear what they were talking about, but I didn't have to worry as Henry began commentating their discussion to me. I quickly changed out of the dress and into the large shirt. I shook my arms, trying to keep myself alert.
"I'm going back in, night Henry." I murmured before opening the door to go back into the living room.
"Goodnight, Gemma." He said, before I looked up at the boys.
"I hate dresses." I laughed to myself as I plopped myself back to where I sat next to Ashton. Ashton bit his lip, smirking at me.
"Nice shirt, where did you get it?"
"Oh, off a weirdo down the road."
The boys laughed, whilst I took another slice of pizza.
Once the movie was finished, Michael yawned.
"I'm off to bed, what's the plan for tomorrow?"
I shrugged. "I have no plans, did you want to do anything?"
"Well you can stay here tonight then."
"You sure? I'm fine with the couch."
"You can share a bed with me if you like. As long as you don't try anything." Calum smiled politely at me whilst joking. "We don't have spare blankets."
"I promise I won't." I smirked at Calum, before following him into his room.
Calum POV
As soon as I suggested the idea, I was given glares and looks of confusion by Luke and Ashton. I was merely making sure they stick to their deal. As well as making sure we treated Georgia like a guest.
Georgia thanked me once we got into my bed, and I cleared my throat, mumbling a reply.
"It's fine, it's nice to have a girl around for once. Someone who knows a bit of what lifestyle we're getting into."
"Yeah, well the music industry is tough, but I'm sure you'll get somewhere with it. You should try connecting with your growing fanbase."
"You think?" I murmured, looking at Georgia in the darkness. I could see her nod slightly.
"People like people who talk to them like they are on the same level as them. If that makes sense."
"We could try that tomorrow. We've done it once or twice but we've been so busy lately."
"I get that. It must be tough being in an up and coming band." She paused. "Of course, I've seen that from all the bands my Dad has helped grow."
"Do you share the same beds with every band you meet?" I smirked, and she laughed.
"No, you're the first." She whispered, sighing.
I rolled over in my bed, "You're really nice."
A burst of laughter echoed around the room. "Gee, thanks Calum. Means a lot."
A comfortable silence filled the air.
"What...what are your friends like?"
A long silence made me think she wasn't comfortable answering the question.
"I...they're cool. Cool..." She paused, and I turned to her suddenly interested.
"Gee, don't tell me you-"
She sighed. "Dude, don't tell the others okay? I don't usually have deep conversations."
"Sure." I felt a bit special that she was opening up to me.
"I do have friends, only...with being born into this sorta thing...it makes it difficult to make friends...genuine friends, that is."
For a moment, I felt as if I totally got her. Like I saw exactly how tough her life was. Like we connected tonight.
Gemma POV
I bullshitted way too much there.
