So it turns out that I know a guy who looks like Michael Clifford...absolutely hated the guy during the first 2 years of high school, but I loved arguing with him at the same time. Then one day it went from loving to argue to just being friends :'D weird.
After the band finished performing, I found myself in a discussion with Mr Kingsley over whether I was allowed a cat in my new apartment.
"You're allowed a fish, but cats would ruin my furniture."
"Dad! No way, you have to let me have Snooks!"
"You've named this cat already?" He looked behind my shoulder and dropped his voice to a minimum, knowing I'd still hear him. "Luke is looking over at you."
I nod, turning around to walk over to where he is, pretending to notice him a few seconds later.
"Hey." I smiled, batting my eyelashes. "That was a great performance."
Luke visibly gulped. "Thanks. I'm glad. Er..."
"Are you and your band busy over the next few days? I'd love to hang out."
Luke's eyes widened. "Er, yes! I mean, no...we are free. Did you want to hang out?"
I nodded. "Ash took my number, so get him to text me when you want to meet, if you fancy."
Luke looked behind him, then turned back with a frown on his face. "When did Ash get your number?"
"Earlier?" I smiled innocently at him.
"Yeah...let me get yours too, as Ashton is a really bad texter..."
I smirked and nodded. "Right."
Luke nodded. A grin on his face formed before he leaned closer. "I'll see you tomorrow then?"
"What about tonight? You guys are new to the city...why don't I take you all around and show you the sights? By limo, of course...bit dangerous in the city at night...especially for a newbie."
Luke chuckled. "Trust me...I think I can handle myself."
"Oh really...because I've heard a bit about you guys being trampled on by fans a few times?"
Luke looked away, a trace of a smile on his lips. "Yeah, that wasn't pretty but nobody knows us in England...yet."
"Yet." I nodded.
Luke shoved his hands in his pants, rocking on his feet. "Right, so did you want to get out of here?"
"I must stay until the final act, but after that, sure." I brushed past him to go into the greenroom, and I smiled brightly at the rest of the band. Michael was lying on the floor while Ashton was sitting on him, riding him like Michael was an animal. I had to stifle laughing.
Calum sat laughing on the sofa, so I sat down next to him. His eyes were bright with excitement from the gig, and he put an arm around my shoulder to give me a small hug.
"Wassup, Gee!"
This nickname felt quite safe, I was trying to forget how to respond to Gemma, but if someone would call me by that name, I wouldn't hesistate to turn my head to their direction.
"Hey, dude. Good job on the show today!"
Luke grinned at Calum. "She's going to show us the city after."
"And pizza after?" I offered, and Calum squeezed me tightly.
"I'm beginning to like this girl." Laughs filled my ears as Ashton fell off Michael, who sat down on the table in front of me.
"Where are we going?"
"I'll have to surprise you." I beamed at Michael.
