Ashton POV
I'm fine. I can sleep in my own bed by myself. I chuckled frantically to myself as I rolled over in my bed again. I was freezing cold yet melting at the same time. I sat up, frustrated. What is it with this L.A. weather?
I pulled a pillow into my chest and tried to pretend Georgia was there, but it was no use. I couldn't explain it. I felt...safer when I was with her.
I couldn't believe she ditched me for Calum tonight.
I just nodded and pretended like it didn't bother me, yet it did. Why is Calum her cuddle buddy tonight? She's my girlfriend.
"Fuck sake." I muttered, forcing my eyes shut in an attempt to sleep. We had a song-writing session tomorrow so I had to get rest.
Half an hour later, I climbed out of bed and threw a shirt and some joggers on. I had to do something, anything.
I crept out of my room and grabbed my keys. I needed to just start walking to clear my head and then I'll probably be able to sleep.
I found myself just chilling by the pool on the sunbed, watching the sun rise. It was beautiful. I wished Georgia was awake to see it. I decided to tweet it out instead and make an instagram.
"Hey all...I can't sleep right now but this is my view right now." I twisted the camera to show my followers the view, then back to myself. "Beautiful."
Calum POV
I smiled to myself when I woke up the next morning. My heart was beating out of my chest as I remembered that Georgia was lying next to me. She was still asleep, and she looked radiant. Her head was tucked into my chest and her hot breath against my skin was giving me goosebumps.
Man, this girl.
My thoughts began drifting back to the first proper night I spent with her. When nobody knew who she was really like. When she opened up to nobody but me for the first few weeks. She probably tells Ashton everything now.
I trailed my fingers across the bare skin of her arm. She made a point to wear a shirt, even though it was boiling.
She began to stir, to which I pulled her tighter to me. She sighed.
"Calum." She mumbled. "Are you awake?"
"No." I croaked out, my throat dry with sleep. "Morning."
"Morning." A giggle slipped through her lips. "You're kinda suffocating, babe."
The word surprised me. She's never called me 'babe' before. I loosened my arms as she took a deep breath and sitting up in bed. She looked refreshed.
She grinned at me. "That was an awesome sleep."
"I love our cuddles." I reached over to grab her hand. ''We bond more over them."
"We do." She agreed, before pecking my cheek and getting up. "You have stuff to do today! Get up!"
A knock on my door signaled Michael sticking his head into my room. "Yo, where's your boy?"
"Erm..." Georgia rushed out of the room and I sighed loudly, falling back onto my pillows.
Gemma POV
Me and Michael stood outside in the sun, looking at each other with confused expressions on our faces. Ashton was sprawled on one of the sunbeds in an awkward position...meaning his head was on the floor unlike the rest of his body which was on the bed.
"Ashton? You okay, buddy?" I smirked to myself as I nudged him. He groaned slightly but didn't move.
"Shall I throw a bucket of water on him?" Michael suggested, and I shook my head, laughing.
"Come on, help me." I grabbed his top half and Michael grabbed his legs as we carried him back into the house. "Is he drunk?"
We dropped him on the sofa and by this time Luke and Calum had both come out to see what was going on. Calum had a frown on his face.
"This isn't like him- what happened?"
Luke walked over and squirted some of his water onto Ashton's face. Ashton's eyes opened wide as he shook his head about like a dog, before looking at us curiously. A cute frown formed on his face.
"How did I get here?" He looked up at me with a cheeky grin. "Hi babe!"
Calum shook his head before going back to his room, slamming the door shut.
Ashton groaned as he stretched out. "Shit, think I've burnt myself."
