Yoongi took a bite into the cheesy delicacy. "Must you eat it like the gods up above made it themselves?" Joan says sarcastically. Yoongi shruggs and continues to enjoy his pizza. "Listen I can't help if this shit is divine ok? Plus it's so different from the food I had back at home it's, um, refushing?" Yoongi mumbled the last part, embarrassed over the fact he couldn't remember a word well. "That was pretty close don't put yourself down! It's refreshing, see super close to what you said." Yoongi nods thankful for Joan's efforts but it doesn't stop the slight embarrassment the stays in his chest. "You mind if Jae joins us?" She asks and Yoongi shakes his head.

"So how have your work projects been? I know we're in another big season now so you probably have a lot huh?" She asks as Yoongi finishes his first slice, grabbing another from the box. "I mean I guess, but I'm pretty good with wedding related photos so it's not that bad. If anything the only bad part is trying not to get sunburnt." Joan laughs, even harder when Yoongi stuffs his face with the slice of pizza. "That's true, but hey now that fall is coming up there's less outdoor weddings. There's also less weddings in general but then back to school season happens and there's hell week for that. Then you get like two months to relax and then thanksgiving happens. That begins the worst time of the year. Be ready because thanksgiving and Christmas are hell." Her face is full of dread but Yoongi's is full of confusion, and pizza. "What's a thanksgiving?" He asks and Joan stares at Yoongi. "Oh shoot sorry. It's like a holiday that America has to celebrate what we're thankful for. However as you grow older all you really care about is the large amount of food and American football." She explains. "Does it go on for several days?" Yoongi asks, interested in the holiday. "It used to be seven days but now it's just one day in November. What I would give for seven days of good food like that." Yoongi nods. "Do you guys do something like that?" She asks and Yoongi ponders. "I mean we have chuseok but it isn't that similar to thanksgiving really." Joan nods before her hair gets ruffled.

"Waddup kiddos." Jae says pulling up a chair to the table. "Hi." Yoongi's says. "Frosty is still quiet I see?" Frosty was the name Jae gave Yoongi back when they first met. He said his pale complexion fit perfectly with the name, much to Yoongi's displeasure. "Must you?" He mumbles and the other two laugh. "I do find it interesting how differently you treat Jae compared to me Yoongi." Joan states looking intrigued. "It's just cause he's older and respect works a bit differently in Korea than here in America. Plus I'm not used to having an older friend really." To avoid further conversation Yoongi grabs a third slice and begins eating it.

"Oh yea that's right frosty I meant to tell you. Remember when I got my hair done blue?" Yoongi nods letting Jae continue. "Well I forgot I had bought another box and I really don't wanna do blue again. I remember you saying you dyed your hair a lot back in Korea so I was wondering if you wanted it?" Yoongi thought for a moment. Blue in his hair wouldn't be new for him, although a full head of blue would be. "Sure, but you're helping me then." Yoongi tells him and Jae nods. "I can't wait!" Joan exclaims.

"Jesus fuck can you be anymore aggressive?" Yoongi asks as Jae washes his hair. "Sorry dude I'm just tryin to do your hair justice." Jae reasons pulling a bit to hard and making Yoongi yelp. "Ugh my hair is already gonna fall out from how much I've died it, don't try to quicken my balding pace." Yoongi complains and the older laughs. "Sassy are we frosty?" Jae says as he turns off the water and grabbing a towel. "Here you go." He says handing the younger it.

Soon his hair is dried and brushed and Yoongi gets directed towards a mirror. "Huh. I like it." Yoongi says watching Jae through the mirror. The older is looking around his room as Yoongi takes in the new hair color. "Hey Yoongs what're all these note books?" Jae asks and watches as Yoongi scrambles over to him. "stuff from Korea." He says and then puts them all into the desk drawer. Jae hums as he watches the familiar sight of Yoongi growing panicky from the mention of his home.

"You know I realized I never asked what you do for a living." Yoongi asks. "I teach at a music store." He tells him and Yoongi hums. "You play guitar right? That's pretty cool." Yoongi rambles, slowly calming down. "Yea I guess. You ever play an instrument frosty?" Jae asks and Yoongi moves to sit down, resting his head against the desk. "I played the piano up until recently." He says as Jae sits down on Yoongi's bed. "Why'd you stop?" Jae asks "life happened." Yoongi says closing his eyes. He kinda misses the feeling of pressing down on the keys of the piano. "Oh that's right I have to send a picture to Joan." Jae says before snapping a picture. "Ah yes she'll truly appreciate that. It really shows the amount of done I'm feeling." Jae laughs. "Shmood." He mumbles and Yoongi decides not to ask what that means.

"Yo Yoongs we should hang out more. Don't know why we don't already." Yoongi nods not minding making new friends. He feels bad but they're a good distraction from his thoughts. "Sweet dude." Yoongi feels his hair being ruffled. "Dear lord no don't go near my hair again hasn't it suffered enough?" Jae laughs and Yoongi smiles. He's already forgetting about his problems.
