It had been a little over two weeks, I was back to school and work, Sara was finally over her suspension, at school we would sit together at the table I used to occupy alone, Mick and his friends would always look the other way when they walked by us, I would walk Sara to her classes just to make sure Mick didn't try anything stupid to hurt her.

I was now partial to looking over my shoulder all of the time and always being alert because this time if Mick tried anything he wouldn't surprise me and I would protect both Sara and myself if it was the last thing I ever did.

It was finally Friday, I was walking Sara to her Science class before heading to History myself, Sara spoke up where I could hear her over the chatter in the hallway, "You know you don't have to walk me everywhere, right?" I just smiled, "You know you enjoy the idea of having a tall lanky body guard making sure you get to your classes on time." She rolled her eyes as we started down the steps.

We heard a blood curdling yell and a few other voices yelling "Alexa" that name always gave me a bad feeling and I don't know why, Sara jumped at the scream, I just covered my ears with my hands as it made my ears ring, suddenly after we got to the bottom of the stairs I seen Mick from the corner of my eye running toward us, "You stupid bitch!" He was heading toward Sara with his fist drew back, my first reaction was to protect Sara, I jumped in front of her as he approached.

Adrenaline took over as he tried pushing me to the side, he managed to get a punch to Sara, but when I seen him do it I immediately slammed my knee into his stomach from the side I was standing on and slammed my elbow down into the back of his neck when he bent over causing him to fall to his knees clutching his stomach, I looked over to Sara where she was holding her face with blood coming from between her fingers.

Sara looked up at me, then down at Mick who was now looking up at her, I tried to stop her but she broke his nose again and dislocated his jaw, with that one punch before I could catch her hand to keep her from getting suspended again, at least this time we'd be suspended together.
