✾Ruby's pov
I frowned and groaned as my phone started ringing, it was about 2 pm and my best friend was calling."Don't tell me you're still in bed."
"Sasha, let me sleep.", I whined.
"Get off your ass and get dressed, I'm picking you up in five or so help me God I will drag you out of bed by your hair."
And with that she hung up.
Sasha has been my best friend for about twelve years now. We wanted to go to the same highschool but unfortunately, her grades didn't cut it. This is why we go to different schools but we meet up every weekend. Sasha was a red head. She had majestic blue eyes and a figure to die for. She looked like she belonged in fashion magazines. She was like the sister I never had. From sharing music CDs, clothes and even crushes at one point to conspiracy theory sessions over pizza and sleep overs.
I dragged my body out of bed and made my way to the bathroom, shivers went down my spine as I washed my face with crisp, cold water. I changed into some dark blue jeans with a black baggy hoodie.
-
I was almost done with my grapes when I heard Sasha's car honk outside.
"Be home till 10, Ruby." Said my mum while brushing her long mermaid like hair.
"Sir yes sir."
I kissed her goodbye, grabbed my phone and walked out of house. Sasha lowered her shades to take a better look at me when I got into the car.
"You look like a homeless person."
"Aww, is my baby embarrassed to be seen with me?"
I gave her a tight hug.
"Listen you hobo, we're going to a party tomorrow night."
"Sasha, we've been through this before, I don't do parties."
"I promise I won't ditch you this time, we'll actually have fun. I promise.", She pouted.
"Yeah just like last time."
"The DJ was cute, okay!"
"That doesn't give you the right to ditch me, you ass."
"Well it won't happen this time and we're going dress shopping."
-
"What do you think about this one."
She was wearing a dark red, low cut dress that hugged her curves.
"Your funbags are just out there, living their own life.", I laughed,
"Ugh that's the only problem with this dress, it's too low cut."
I picked out a navy-blue net dress for her to try.
"Here, put this on."
While she was changing, my phone buzzed. Cole had sent me one of those animated stickers. This one was of a pink dragon snoring. I sent him one of a half cat-half ham drooling in his sleep. I was smiling at my phone when Sasha stepped out of the changing room. My jaw dropped when I looked at her.
"Sasha this is perfect. Fuck the red dress, buy this one. You look so pretty."
She squealed and said,
"Thank you for picking this out, my hobo princess."
-
I gave Sasha one last hug and stepped out of the car.
"Bye Shash"
And with that she was gone and I was home. I helped my mum make some spaghetti for dinner. It was just us cause my dad is rarely home. She asked me all about what I did today. She had one direction playing on her phone which was pulling at my nerve.
