Alex stared at him.
"You mean to tell me that you got into a war with THE HADES?"
Ares looked up.
"THE Hades? Boy I fight and win no matter who I am fighting." He then mumbled "As long as they don't raise my army from the dead and use them against me that is..."
Alex stood dumbfounded, staring at the bulky god.
"What!" The god shouted.
Alex raised one of his eyebrows.
"You mean to tell me that the god of WAR, is losing a WAR?" Alex said with a smirk.
"You have some nerve bo-" Ares stopped himself "You are my son, goading me to expose weakness, then let me guess... you would use my anger to get more information. Am I close?"
Alex stood blinking
"Y-yes actually. How did you know?" Alex inquired.
Ares shook his head
"Cause the son of Troy used that one me on more than once. That stupid son of a-"
Ares then smacked himself upside the head.
"I'm going to regret this, but you do know that there is more than one god of war right? Bellona the-"He shuddered as he said this. "Roman, ugh, goddess of war has sided with Hades, she enjoys to fight, and if she can fight me, she will gladly join the opposing side of a god war."
Ares then shook his head
"She has been a pain in my ass for centuries, but I have what she doesn't, children that can go through to the underworld, and take out key components to Hades' army."
Alex stared at him with disbelief. Ares saw the look and instantly regretted saying what he did.
"You won't be going to the underworld, I have bigger plans for you. You, are going to be the leader to my new demigod army."
