The darkness surrounded a brilliant city, it's walls glimmered, they towered over the city. So much so that nothing could be seen of the city, except through the cracks that were now forming in the walls, the darkness seemed to start swallowing the city, the brilliance seemed no longer enough to hold the hungry abyss back, it hit the walls in a wave-like motion, a deep sense of defeat started to cover what was left. The walls began falling, but just as this happened, a flash of pure white light cut through the darkness, pushing it back, keeping the city safe for now.....
