We reached at the destination and came out of the truck. There is big mountain in front of us wrapped in white sheet of snow. Cold winds blowing with fast pace and making sound in our ears. Whether we are covered with winter caps still we can heard the wind sound. I rubbed my hands together and we all lined up.
Instructor: I will call the numbers come forward.
We nodded.
Instructor: 5. She step forward.
Instructor: 13. He step forward
Instructor: 24. He step forward
Instructor: 30. She step forward
Instructor: 39. He step forward
Instructor: u all will lead with 5 groups. Now set up and meet me on the top.
With this he went away with truck. Did he know the simple route ? I aside my thought and start looking for my team. As I m number 15 I will be in Second group. In my team 5 Russian men and 3 Indians including me. My team leader is a man. His name is Alexander. He is soft heart person. I talked him two to three times. Actually It was not me. It was him who always approached me and we also seated beside each other in our theory class.
He start asking our weight. We all told them and he start lining us. He put a strong muscled man in who is wearing number 12 and I at last coz of my light weight. We tied our rope around our waist with the harness and loops. We all ready to climb. He start digging the axe in the mountains and we start climbing. Every group choose different direction to reach at the top.

After climbing at certain distance of mountain he start slipping on the snow. Due to which we are losing our balance. Alexander voice comes and he asked to stop. We all climbed and stopped at there.
Alexander: all remove ur shoes and socks.
What??? Is he out of his mind in this cold weather he asking removing our shoes and socks. But we all did and waited for him. He also did the same.
Alexander: now looked at me. It will be easy for us not to slip on the ice.
We all nodded and looked at him. He removed his socks and wore on his shoes and then again wear the shoes.
Alexander: now do it immediately. We have to reached at the top before more weather change.
Yes, while we are climbing the weather is changing and it making us difficult to reach at the top soon. Snow flakes start falling down and making tough for us. Even I feel lack of oxygen. We all nodded and did the same and again we start climbing the mountain. He was right we are not slipping or sliding on snow but it is giving us more grip to reach soon.

After 2 hours or more of hardship we arrived at the top. Our instructor already there and waiting for us. We are the second who reached at the top still 3 have to come. We removed our bag from our back and sit for a while.

All group arrived and again we lined up but this time our leader is front of us. Here the weather is very chilled than at the bottom. Our feet are hiding in snow.
Instructor: cadets now we all will learn how to survive in this icy weather.
We all nodded. He step back and start digging the snow.

He stopped and a large pit is dug according to his height in front of us. It was not deep. He raised his head to looked at us.
