I'd been more tired than usual lately, mostly because I spent my nights staying up to talk to Seola. She usually knocked out early, but since she's been feeling a bit down these last few weeks, I've been trying my best to keep her smiling, knowing that my emotional support meant more to her than I thought.

She just got a new job with Jana at a coffee shop, and while I was proud of her for making her own money, I knew it was taking a toll on her mentally as she balanced school and work for the first time.

I called her crazy, thinking she wouldn't let Jana convince her to get a job with her, but, surprise, she did, and all I could do was be there for her.

I constantly took naps in class, and, lucky for me, when teachers called me, I was usually able to answer questions with no problem, leaving me with no penalty like other students.

At the end of the school day, I stopped at Young K's desk, waiting for my fangirls to leave the room.

"Thanks for getting my name off the board. If you're down, we can hang at the arcade down the road from here when you're done," I offer. "Lots of fun games, you know."

Young K nods. "Give me a few minutes. I'll meet you there."
