Brooklyn's POV
"Hey wake up, Mrs. Summer said we're gonna go to the white house today." Sophia threw a pillow at my head and Sarah and Sam laughed. Sam and I shared a bed and Sarah and Sophia shared a bed.
"Hey, watch it."
"What are you gonna do about it?" Sophia stuck here tongue out at me and I jumped out of bed. I went to go tackle her and Sophia started running towards, but Sarah and Sam stopped us. Sarah put her arm out a practically clotheslined Sophia, Sam on the other hand stood in front of me and put her hands on the side of my ribs.
"You two it's too early for you to be fighting." Her voice soothed me and I forgot everything that just happened. A smile just took over my face and she pushed me back and walked into the bathroom.
I plopped back down on the bed and let out a small sigh. "You should tell her."
"W-wh-what? What should I tell who?" I stuttered out and sat up to look at Sarah.
"Brooklyn don't act dumb, Sophia might not see it, but you literally drooled the other day, and let's just say Sam's not touchy-feely with everyone, but don't listen to me, even though you should."
"Is she even-?"
"Hey have you guys seen my shirt?" Sam walked past Sarah and walked to me shirtless. She's a cheerleader and cheer has done her abs well. "You're sitting on my shirt."
"Whoops sorry." I handed her the shirt and she smiled and pulled it over her head.
I watched her walk back into the bathroom and felt Sarah's hand push my chin up.
"Come on, you need to get ready."
~~~~
"Alright everyone, we need a buddy sytem, ready? Alright, let's go,
Cortez and Sales
Palm and Berry
Bat and Sanders
Perry and Sanchez
Rose and Sevten
Nest and Armando
Doon and Cortez
If you need to go to the bathroom, actually just don't separate from your partner. Alright let's go have some fun."
"What's up partner." Sam came up to me and slung her arm around my shoulders.
"Hey. You know, I hope we're home before the seven." I complained to her.
"Let me guess, there's a soccer game on?"
"You would be correct and it's Chicago versus Portland at that."
"Oh yea you like those teams, well let's hope you get home in time for them."
"Yea, if not that'll suck."
~~~
"Hey, look at that, six thirty five, before seven."
"Yes! Wanna watch the game with me?"
"If I don't you're just gonna tell me watch this, every five minutes."
I laughed at her comment and hopped on our bed. I opened my MacBook and went to te NWSL website.
"What's the two forwards' names again?"
"Christen Press and Alex Morgan, you look like Alex Morgan with Christen Press' coloring."
"Is that a good thing?"
"That's an amazing thing, they're both beautiful."
"So what does that make me?"
My heart stopped for a second as she asked the question. "Uh you're the one that's gonna sit and watch the game with me."
"Wow, nice answer." She crawled into bed next me and rested her head on my shoulder.
"Come on the game is about to start now."
~~~~
"So are you happy or sad that Chicago won?"
"I don't know, it's hard to choose! I like both these teams, and Alex, Tobin, and Allie looked so sad that they didn't win."
"Yea, but they have each other to comfort themselves, just like you have me, Sarah, and Sophia."
"Yea, I guess. Speaking of I wonder if Sophia is playing spring basketball or going soccer."
"Oh, I don't know, I can't play either."
"I could always teach you."
"I'd like that." She smiled and I felt myself rise.
"I'm gonna run to the bathroom." She got up and went into the bathroom and I looked over at Sophia and Sarah. They made hearts with their hands and smiled at me.
"I don't think that's what's happening here." I told them and shook my head.
I was wrong though, it would eventually happen, I miss Sam, I haven't talked to her much since it all happened.
I unpacked the rest of my stuff. I turned on the tv, Real Madrid is playing, and winning. Ronaldo, I know people don't think he's better than Messi, but no, I think he's better, lucky seven, he knows how to play, and he's a great guy to his fans.
*knock knock*
I walked over to the door and looked through the peep hole, but I couldn't see anyone. I walked back to my bed, but heard it again. I did the same thing, but still no one there.
"Room service." I heard the voice outside the door, but honestly it didn't sound like room service and I didn't ask for room service.
I walked over to my nightstand and called the hotel front desk.
"Hi, yes, there's someone at my door and I didn't order room service or anything, so if you could please check it out for me, thank you."
The lady sent a worker up and I waited. I looked out and watched and when the worker came down the hall two big guys walked past my door.
