(I might be putting places instead of wether or not it's past or present)
Julie's POV
"Alright ladies practice is over, go get some food and rest." Thank goodness! Rory was so tough today, I don't know if we've ever ran so much!
"Hey Ertz wanna go get some food?"
"Yea, sure have you talked to Kling much lately?"
"Ehh, when I can, schedules they're terrible. Umm we need to talk about something."
"Okay, let's do it while we're eating though."
"Alright." Moe went to grab her stuff and I was trying to think of what we would be talking about. I don't know if it's bad or good. "Alright let's go." She came back over with her stuff. I drove her to practice so we both went to my car.
The whole car ride seemed silent other than a few times of Moe singing. We got to one of our places and got a table. "So umm what did you wanna talk about?"
"You...umm you're play, it just- uhh, you're trying to be distant from Christen and it's screwing up play, Julie I know it's awkward, but we need you two. You're a great duo on the field and not having you two playing like you used to is affecting the whole team."
"Why don't you talk to her, I'm over it, it's her that's not."
"Okay one, that's what Casey and Alyssa are doing two you aren't over it, don't lie to yourself JJ, come on, you were best friends, and no I'm not with Kling anymore, but we're always gonna be best friends, we over looked what happened. You two can too. Okay just try for the team."
"I'll try, but she has to also."
"She will, foods on me."
"Are you sure?"
"Yea." Moe nodded her head and continued looking at the menu.
____________
Casey's POV
"Press you coming or not?"
"I tried the not you two told me I have to come."
"We just want to buy food for our captain." I told her and Alyssa laughed. "I'm just here, because I have nothing else to do tonight."
"Wow thanks Alyssa." Christen looked at me with a irritated look on her face. "Seriously?!" I gave Alyssa a punch on the arm and we got in the car.
"Why do you want me to come so bad."
"Because we need to talk to you Press."
"Great! Just what I thought a trap." Christen let out a big sigh and slammed her body against the seat.
We arrived at the restaurant and got a table. Alyssa and I sat on one side with Christen on the other. "What so important that we need to talk about?"
"This." Alyssa told her.
"Press you're just so...unhappy! You're such a gloom lately. We know you might be upset byJulie getting married and the relationship not working out, but that can't affect your play."
"You- everyone keeps bringing that up! I'm not unhappy, why does everyone think that?!"
"Chris, you just need to talk with her, it'll help."
"No it's not that simple. Tobin and Alex are lucky, because they don't have to see each other all the time. Kling and Moe are apart too, everyone else got the easy way out, because they only see them when they're in two different states!"
"I know, that's why you're better, because you're actually gonna solve the problem instead of avoiding it." Alyssa told her and she shook her head.
"What do I have to do then?"
"Talk to her."
"Julie? I would if she would talk to me, but she hasn't been, I tried." A frown fell across her face.
"It's a good thing we got Moe to talk to her, she agreed that you needed to talk."
"Okay, fine, when though?"
"She's staying at your place tonight."
"What you guys! You can't just do that, but whatever, I have to be alone with her?"
"We could come watch a movie with you two." Alyssa suggested.
"Yea, that's a good idea."
_______________
Christen's POV
"Casey did you bye popcorn?"
"Yep, and made it."
"Yes! You're the best!" Julie and I said in sync and giggled. They're right this will go good and make things better.
"What movie?"
"We should watch pitch perfect, I love those movies!" Moe told us and she pulled them out of her bag, gotta love bean. We watched the movie and of course they sat Julie and I practically on top of each other. I felt her body's vibrations every time she lapped and watching her laugh I couldn't help, but smile.
The movie ended and Moe, Casey, Alyssa, Sofia, all left leaving Julie and I alone. "I'm glad they forced us to do this."
"Same here, if it wasn't forced it would be even better." I told her with a smile, but adjusted my body when I noticed how close we were. She noticed it too, but neither of us backed up, we didn't want to. Julie's face grew closer to mine as mine did the same. Until we stopped a centimeter from our lips touching.
"I don't want to mess this night up." She whispered against my lips certain times they barely touched. "We need one last one."
"I agree." After saying those two words she leaned in farther to connect our lips. It seemed like the kiss wasn't gonna end, but she slowly pulled away. As we both opened our eyes.
"We're good now right?" She moved her blonde hair out of her face shyly as I smiled and nodded at the younger player.
Everything was good, that is except for the fact that I just kissed a married woman.
