Sophia's POV
"Hey, Sophia! You're not gonna guess who's coming to join us!" Jaelin jumped and pushed off my shoulders. She seemed extra happy about something.
"I guess I'm not gonna guess, so tell me." She had a huge smile on her face.
"Ready, like are yiu ready!.....Brooklyn Lopez is gonna play this set with our team!"
I looked at her puzzled. Why us? Did she get kicked off the senior level? She's really good, so it was odd not to see her coming to our team. I mean U-20 is the one of the highest, but still...
"You're thinking...but not responding...what's up?"
"I don't know, it's just seems odd, why is she playing with us?" I could tell I sent Jaelin deep in thought now too. She looked down at her feet and bite her lip. "I could be related to the video, you know the reason..."
"What video?" I looked at her and raised my eyebrow. "You know the one where she just knocks out Mallory. Like full of slug to the head. It seems they had a fight, and Brooklyn won. Lopez, I've heard she's kind of crazy..."
"Jae, why are you so excited for her to come than?!" She just shrugged her shoulders and smiled. "I guess, because then it is a gaurateed win."
I nodded agreeing with her, there's no way we were gonna lose. We were playing Brazil U-20s. I was a little worried, because come on, it's Brazil, but if she can beat the senior level team this should be easy.

"Alright ladies line up!" Our coach walked onto the field and smiled at us. "I have a soccer special guest, or shall I say addition to this team for your Brazil games. Please welcome Brooklyn Lopez."
The team of course went wild. Coach Klimkova introduced the girl. She was pretty, but I'm not quite sure why everyone who met her went crazy. I heard she dated Mallory, but who knows if that's true. Maybe that's why she punched her, tough breakup?
Coach K calmed down the team and she smiled at her. She had a small smirk plastered on her face as she looked over at Jaelin and I. We've gone to a few camps with the national team, but we haven't played yet. She went to first camp and played immediately. I couldn't figure out if she was the type that thought she was better than everyone.
"Coach is she on our team now?" Our coach let out a light laugh at our team's excitement. Me, no, I was not a single bit excited. She seemed off to me. "Ladies, I know you're extremely excited. I'm sorry to say that this is a temporary thing until she is completely back to speed."
So she's just using our team as rehab, typical for someone like her. "You don't seem too thrilled about this..." I don't know why Jaelin is, it's her competition. That midfield spot is tough to get.
"I don't care, she can do her thing, I'm gonna do mine."
"Ok, what ever you say Soph." She jogged over to Coach as everyone walked away. I could tell I wasn't the only one with tension on the team with her. Ashley Sanchez, one of Mal's friends didn't seem to happy to see her either.
"Hey. Sophia right?" I looked up from tightening the laces of my boots to the unfamiliar face. "Yea, that's me." She looked down at her feet nervously, nervous? Doesn't seem like her.
"Umm Coack K said that you would show me around..." I nodded my head at the girl with a soft voice. She didn't seem what they all thought. She seemed shy, sweet, but still it didn't seem like this was how she always acts.
"Yea, I guess I am." She nodded and threw her bag down beside me. She plopped down on the ground and pushed her solid black roshe off. She pulled her cleats out of her bag. They were nice. She had the blue orbit Neymar's.
