Alex's POV

"I'll miss you guys, bye." Brooklyn hugged Casey, Moe, Alyssa, Christen, and Julie as they left to go back to Chicago. "I'll see you guys soon hopefully."

"Goodbyes seem easy for you."

"I wish...It's not like I'm fully saying good bye, more of a until next time. I know what true goodbyes feel like, but I'm still with you...bummer."

"Wow! You know I can get you a plane too." She giggled and wrapped her arms my waist as she leaned against my body. One thing I guess I've never really noticed is that we never, the team never really thinks about how old she actually is, she's the baby. Her and Mallory are 19 and like 16, but we just seem them as if they're five. I don't think it bothers her and I hope it never does. If she were to act more mature it's like I wouldn't have a little sister anymore.

"Are you okay?"

"Huh, uh yea, I just was I don't know, I just zoned off." My phone buzzed, great I have to go to the field. It's great to be a soccer player, but Coach Sermani has been kilimg us all with these practices.

"Hey, umm I have to go to practice Servando doesn't have anything, so you could hang with him-"

"Who?"

"Umm... Servando is my- uh-" I let out a nervous laugh as she looked at me with a face of complete confusion. "...boyfriend" She let out a sigh before I saw a smile appear on her face. "I'm happy for you Alex, I'd love to meet him, what if we both just came and watched your practice?"

"Wait seriously?!" She nodded at me with a smile across her face as I picked her up and spun her in a circle. "Thanks for understanding!"

"Anything for you lex."

"Thanks, I'll be right back." I gave her a quick kiss on the cheek and went to go find my soccer stuff. When did I ever start doing that?

Brooklyn's POV

"Okay, so this is Servando Carrasco, Serv this is Brooklyn, my baby." Alex smiled at me, but his facial expressions changed. "Uhh Alex you never mentioned you had a daughter..."

"She's not actually silly, she's my national teammate."

"Ohhh... Lopez! The one that scores more than you!"

"Yea, let's find a different way to remember her, so umm while I'm at practice, you two can get to know each other and watch maybe walk around and show her the place."

 "Yea, no problem, I'll see you later babe." He gave her a kiss on the cheek and she left the two of us. I already knew the first thing at would come from my mouth. "Do you make her happy?"

"I always try to. Alex seems happy around you, so tell me a little about yourself."

"Umm I'm sixteen-"

"You're only sixteen and you're on Alex's national team?!"

"Yea, so like I was saying... I'm a point gaurd in basketball and right mid, forward and goalie. My favorite color is purple, umm I don't know tell me a little about yourself."

"Umm, I moved to America when I was seven, my mom beat breast cancer twice, I play for Orlando City. Our color is purple by the way. I'm in love with a blue eyed forward."

"Aww, that's amazing about your mom, but like Alex did to someone I'm seeing, hurt her I'll kill you, I love Alex, if you hurt her everyone on the nations team will be just as hurt, but I'm different, I will be hurt, but I'll come beat your ass, so keep her happy and I'm happy." I smiled at him and walked up into the stands.

I've only been playing beside Alex and not really watching her play since I started playing. It was interesting to really watch one of your teammates play, even though Alex is more than just my teammate.

~~~
"Hey you two, how'd it go?" Alex came up and smiled as Servando and I walked onto the field.
"I think it went great." Servando smiled at her making Alex's grow.
"Yea, while you finish up Servando and I are gonna mess around on the pitch for a few minutes."
"Ok awesome, I'll be done soon." Alex got closer to me and whispered "thanks for being so great and getting along." She gave me a quick hug and jogged away. "Hey Alex wait, do you have an extra pair of cleats?"
She laughed and grabbed a pair off the ground and threw them to me. It's pretty cool that we're the same shoe size.
"Ready?" Servando had his cleats on and I finished tying mine. "Let's go, so what are Orlando SC practices like?"
"They differ, I bet they're not as hard as your national team practices."
"It depends on what kinds of games they are, tournaments practice is much harder, but friendlies aren't bad practices."
"Yea, I survived them."
"Show me what you've got."
"Alright, I feel like that's a challenge right there." I laughed as Popped the ball up and he stepped up in front of me. I juggled the ball at my feet and did a samba flick over his head. He wasn't completely trying as much as just seeing what I could do. I pulled the ball around, then slipped it through his legs before hitting it in the air and doing a full backflip kick sending the ball into the left corner, as I came down I landed on one leg still taking it easy on my leg since the tournament of nations.
"Why the one leg landing?"
"I hurt my leg last tournament."
"Holy shit!" Servando and I turned to see Alex's whole team, coaching staff everyone watching us. "How old are you?" Alex's Coach, Mr. Semani asked me and walked up closer.
"I'm sixteen." A small smile appeared on my face as Alex stood behind him smiling at me.
"Are you going pro like your teammate, because I know I'd take you in an instant."
"You're not the only coach that's told me that. I would love to play on the same team as Alex when I go pro." He turned around not knowing how close Alex was.
"Alex you should talk to her about playing her in Orlando."
"I should." Alex smirked at me and a quick wink as her coach walked away.
"I would love to play on the same team as you too. Let's go grab something to eat, how about that."
"That sounds great." Servando and I broke out laughing as we said the words in sync.
"Alright let's get you two food."
