Brooklyn's POV
"Hey you two wake up." I felt the pillow hit my head as I opened my eyes to feel Alex's arms around me. We leave today, so I guess I find out. Who is my new mom? I nudged Alex and she rubbed her eyes and sat up. "Good morning." She gave me a kiss on the cheek as I climbed out of bed. I walked into the bathroom and smiled when I saw I was wearing a Cal shirt and shorts with the number 13 at the bottom.
I started to partly be awake as I walked back out of the restroom. "I'm so tired." I crashed back onto bed Alex and I slept on last night. I felt the bed sink next to me and saw Mallory sit down. "Hey, I just wanted to say goodluck. No one truly knows who adopted you, so I guess I'll see you next time." I sat up and smiled at Mallory, before softly connecting my lips to hers. I pulled back and after a few seconds and she looked at me confused.
"I never meant to hurt you, that was him not me. He doesn't even live in Cali anymore either. He moved to Florida, so you don't need to worry. I really do love you Mal."
She blushed and a large smile came across her face. "I'm glad I got to witness that. I'm pretty sure I'm the only one to see you two kiss." Alex stepped out of the bathroom and startled both of us. "Whoops." I smiled at Mallory and she couldn't help, but smile too. "Come here you two. I don't know when I'll see you next, but gonna miss you Mal."
"Ummm...." I looked at Alex. "Nah you just annoy me." I pushed out of the hug and she laughed. "I'm kidding I love you." I looked at her unamused and walked away. "I....love you too, I guess."
"You guess? Yea right everyone does." Mallory, Alex, and I spent the next few minutes laughing and saying goodbyes. Mallory had to leave before us. I was riding with a few others to the airport. Christen, Becky, Julie, Tobin, Ashlyn, Alex and I were all leaving at the same time. We all decided to go get Breakfast together.
"Hey Christen. Can I sit by you?" She looked down with a confused look on her face. I had never changed. "I was in Alex's room when I changed out of the wet clothes, so I took some of her clothes." She nodded and smiled. I looked down at her shorts to see the number 17. "What's you excuse?" Christen just nervously smiled and walked over to the table without answering.
"I'm so getting waffles, oh I love waffles." I told Christen and shut my menu. "I can see that." Julie and Christen laughed at me and picked their meals.

"Alright ready?" Christen looked at me as we stood up and left the table. We walked out and caught our ride to the airport. I sat next to Christen then too. We made our way to the airport and Coach Ellis was with us now. She walked over to me with a soft smile.
"I know you've been waiting...so here. This is your ticket to where you're going and you know who. Brooklyn, promise me you'll be happy, and be good." I nodded as she handed me the ticket upside down. I took a deep breath. The group was standing a few feet away. Some looked like they were waiting to find out too, some looked like they were nervously waiting to see my reaction as if it were them. I looked at the group and turned over the ticket.

A smile grew on my face as I read my ticket. I looked up at her and she had a nervous, but happy smile on her face too. "Thank you." I looked her straight in the eyes as I said it. She knew that I was only looking at her. That the thank you was meant for her. She opened her arms and I ran towards her. I'm excited to go to Orlando.
She held me as everyone started to tear up including both of us. I turned away from Alex and saw the sadness in Christen's eyes. "You're still my mom, just not the only one." She smiled and me and Alex and Christen both stood there crying. "You're gonna let her visit me right?"
"I promise I will Press." Alex hugged Christen and we left for our gate. "You ready to go home?" I nodded and took her hand as we walked towards the gate to Orlando.
"I gotta say that Cal shirt looks good on you." I laughed at Alex and a smirk came to my face. "Would you unadopt me if I said I'm going to Stanford?"
"Yes." We laughed as we waited on our plane. I looked at Alex, or should I say my mom. One small thing stayed in the back of my head though. Servando is my dad and I barely know him, unless he's not on the papers.
None of that mattered right now, I can say that Alex really is my family now. It felt good to say Alex is my family. "I love you Alex."
"Love you too Brooke."
