"So you like him, like him? Or you like him as a friend?" Lexi asked making her way to the fridge. We were bored with nothing to do, so we thought it was best to pay Fort Rapids a visit.

Meanwhile, I'm sitting on a stool in Lexi's kitchen talking about my meaningless crush on Kristian. She's fidgeted around the fridge and comes out with two cartons of Ben & Jerry's Chocolate fudge brownie flavored ice cream. I grabbed a spoon and eyed the delicious chocolate treat in front of me.

My undying love for chocolate.

"Yes," I said, finally answering her question after breaking my trance from the ice cream. "But I'm pretty sure he doesn't feel the same way, though."

"Why do you think that?"

"I don't know. He doesn't give off the vibe that he does...Ya know?"

When she didn't say anything, I continued, "Does he talk to you about that kind of stuff?"

"No, he doesn't." Lexi shook her head, then asked, "You're going to the party?"

"Yeah, Kristian was telling me about it." I smiled at the thought of him inviting me, even if it wasn't his party.

"He did?"

"Yeah, he's suppose to pick me up." Lexi rolled her eyes, and said, "Love birds."

We get to Fort Rapids and we're having a good time. Everyone and the whole state is here. The place was packed, but it didn't annoy me as much. Well, not until I saw Jayden. Out of the many water parks there are in the area, why did he have to be here?

He made his way to the food court where Lexi and I were.

"Wassup, ladies?" He said while looking at me, which indicates that he's only really talking to me.

Everyone else responded but me.

"You can't speak now?" He whispered in my ear. I rolled my eyes.

"Don't you have somewhere to be?" I asked. Now I was annoyed.

He let out a little laugh. "Feisty." I rolled my eyes again and sighed.

He continued, "How you been, baby girl?"

Baby Girl... I remember when I use to be that. Him just calling me that had me reminiscing of when we were together. But I also didn't forget what he did. He was unfaithful. I can't see myself ever trusting him again. What is a relationship without trust?

"Great," I responded. "couldn't have been better." I turned away. He caught my arm and pulled me to him. "You could be even better with me."

By now, I knew the routine: He was going to apologize and say how stupid he was and he's going to sweet talk me into forgiving him. Then we're back together again.

So that leaves me looking like the dumb, foolish and naive girlfriend. While he still can't be trusted, doesn't know how to be faithful or stay committed to one person... A player.

That's what exactly Jayden is... well, trying to be. The way he's holding me with his hands around my waist, and whispering sweet nothings in my ear, reminding me of how hard I fell for him. And how much I still like him and wish things were different.

But right now, knowing this wasn't helping me to stop thinking about potentially being with him again.
