...ENJOY :)

My alarm woke me up at exactly 6:00 A.M. I groaned and put my face in my pillow.

I hate Mondays, I thought, turning off the alarm.

I couldn't wait for graduation. Waking up at six every morning was seriously overrated. I got up and made the bed. I took a quick shower and got dressed in a fresh white Calvin Klein shirt, a pair of ripped skinny jeans and black studded oxfords. I let my thick curly hair down from the bun it was in and let it frame my round face.

I grabbed my bag and ran downstairs. It was already 7:10 and I needed to go pick up Chris and Camille. I know they would throw a fit if I picked them up late. Camille already had too many tardies to deal with.

I grabbed a banana nut muffin off the counter and made my way outside.

That's when I saw him. It's been six months since we've actually spoken to each other without being forced by our mothers.

I wasn't sure if the "love" exists anymore at this point, but I still wished we could've stayed friends. I missed my best friend. But what he did to me was pretty messed up and it hurt me bad. I heard he doesn't go with Adrienne anymore... Not that I care.

Ever since the whole Jayden, Lexi and Kristian fiasco, I haven't had time to even be interested in any boy. Boyfriends were so out of the question.

I drove out of the driveway. I picked Chris up first.

"Whats up, Chica?" He greeted.

"Hey, boo." I smiled.

"You look cute. Simple and cute." I love it when Chris gives me compliments. It actually means a lot. He has a sense of style that no one else could pull off, but him. He's different.

"Thanks, you do too. Pretty soon, I'll have to borrow that jacket. Maybe do that boyfriend's jacket kinda look. Ya know?"

"Totally," He said. "But it's gonna cost ya."

We laughed.

I parked in Camille driveway. She isn't waiting outside. We're already late. I honked my horn twice. She comes out in a pair of sweats with Kevin trailing behind her.

"Hey, you mind giving Kevin a ride too? Please." She asked. I rolled my eyes and Chris said yes for me.

Of course he would.

"It's gonna cost him," I said as they piled into my car. "You got gas money, Kevin?" Car rides are not free. Not in my book.

"Uh, I got a few dollars, I could pay later..." He trailed off.

"Oh, no baby that's fine. She's just playing." Camille assured him. I gave the evil eye. She knows I'm not playing. I don't care who you are. Pay the gas money or you ain't getting ride. Period, point blank.

She threw the evil eye back.

"Okay. You got five dollars?" I tried to compromise. He handed me crisp five dollar bill when we got out the car. "Nice doin' business witcha, kid."

We laughed and walked toward the entrance door of the school.

I was at my locker when I caught a glimpse of Lexi. She was at the locker across from mine. She was now six months pregnant. She looked huge and ready to pop. That day I found out that she was pregnant, I spilled it to Jayden and the people who were around us found about her pregnancy.
